I have nothing but great things to say! I went in for my initial consultation on 9/28/15 after visiting many other doctors and leaving disappointed. This experience was completely different. I felt like Dr. Stoeckel listened to my story- losing 100 pounds, the outcome I was hoping for, my questions, and especially my concerns. I truly felt like I was his only patient and I can't express how grateful I am for that.
I booked my tummy tuck and paid for it in full that day- I knew this was the best surgeon for me and I left without any doubts.
I anxiously awaited my surgery date of 12/31/15 ( how fitting, "new year, new me"). The surgery (TT with some liposuction) went well with no complications. I'll be honest, the first few days of recovery are terrible (maybe I'm just a baby), but after the first week the pain subsided and now 12 days post op, I'm just sore, swollen, and tight.
I was thrilled with my results immediately. When I first took the binder off to see my tummy 2 days after surgery I cried for a good 20 minutes (happy tears). I was swollen and bruised and bandaged, but I could still see the flat little tummy that I worked hard for. He truly gave me everything I wanted and more.
My tummy looks better and better every day, and the outcome surpassed my expectations though it's only been 12 days!
If you're looking for a surgeon who will actively listen, explain things in detail, and make you feel as if you're his only patient, then I highly recommend a consultation with Dr. Stoeckel.
As a side note, I also discussed the possibility of needing an arm and thigh lift after losing so much weight. Dr. Stoeckel was the FIRST surgeon to explain that I may be able to achieve my desired look through liposuction rather than a thigh and arm lift. I appreciated his integrity and giving me the tools to make an informed decision. I am considering this in a few months when I am fully healed from the TT.
