Been a minute

I am 1 year and 1 month exactly post op. Very recently married to the man of my dreams, but I have had some issues since the last time I was on. The VA put me on Zoloft while I was recovering and unfortunately between that, school, work, and kids I gained a butt load of weight. I worked out, I ate healthy and I still got back up 45 pounds. Even phentarmine didn't help me lose weight, but good news is I will graduate from nursing school in December and after July for about a month I won't be working so I will be able to lose a ton of weight again. And once I can afford an aggressive tummy tuck I am going to have one done with extra aggressive lipo. Even before the weight gain my skin relaxed and I have a pooch and dog ears. At least with the weight gain the pooch doesn't look so abnormal. But, I have to go out my munchkins to bed and go to bed myself. Two 12 hour clinicals tomorrow and Thursday!

5 months

I am 5 months, I started some weight training last week, I am taking it very easy! My book bag weighs approximately 50 pounds so if I can carry that with only minimal pain then I can handle 25 pounds. I will however say that I have stupidly attempted to do some sit ups with an 8 pound medicine ball.... I do have to say that even through all of this pain I am very happy and I know I will be seeing some fantastic results soon thanks to getting my hypothyroidism under control and my PTSD!

Long time!

Ok Ladies, due to some health issues I gained 25 pounds! I am down 5 this week and working towards more. My thyroid medicine has kicked in finally and I am non stop go go go. I also got into the LPN program at school so I am finally getting my degree, I will go to the ASN track after I get my PN!
