My Bariatric Life 1-year Post-op. I Look Better at 50 Than I Did at 30! Thanks to Dr. Catherine Winslow, Facial Plastic Surgeon

So glad that I did the upper bleph!
WORTH IT$14,800
One of my favorite procedures is the upper eye lid lift. It was so very nice to get rid of that hooding. Now my eyes look awake and youthful. And I barely need to wear any makeup on them. Instead I get to play up the luscious lips that Dr. Winslow created for me (I had lip augmentation yesterday).
If you are going for facial rejuvenation, this is one procedure you do not want to skip! I am 50 but thanks to Dr. Winslow I look and feel like I am in my 30s.

Shocking photo of me before weight loss surgery
People cannot believe that this is what I looked like in 2003. Yes; it was me. Hard to believe I did that to myself. Obesity not only destroyed my looks. It almost took my life. I thank the Lord for the blessings I have received, the work of my bariatric and plastic surgeons, and the power to stick with diet and exercise for the rest of my life. I want to live forever!

You look so much older in that pic then you do now, and it was 10 years ago, congrats!
Thank you, love. It was even more than 10-years ago. I wish that I had a better sense of the date but I'd say it was 15-yrs ago, something like that.
Isn't it wonderful to live in the times we do and be able to actually turn back the clock on our appearance? I am so greatful!
Yes. It is amazing what information is available to us via the Internet so that we can improve our health and our lives. There is no way that plastic surgery/cosmetic surgery would be as popular as it is today if it were not for sites like this and patients like us sharing our real life stories, or surgeons posting their before and after photos and videos. Add to that all of the information we have at our fingertips on diet and exercise and nutrition, we should look young forever!

Dr. Winslow has done a simply incredible job of rejuvenating my face. Massive weight gain and loss had left sagging skin not only on my body (which was addressed by a body contouring plastic surgeon) but also it destroyed my once pretty face. I am so thankful that I had the courage to go "all in" with my facial plastic surgery, just as I had done with my body contouring plastic surgery. Most importantly, I am blessed to have found Dr. Catherine Winslow because it really took a super talent to make my face look this good. I look far far better today than I did in my thirties.
As far as my eyes, my upper eyelids were heavily hooded and my lower eyelids had lost volume creating a hollow appearance. I really don't know if this was caused by genetics or massive weight gain and loss or a combination of these factors. What is plain to see is that the effect was unattractive. Dr. Winslow did an upper eye lid lift and added the SMAS from my facelift to my tear troughs to add volume to the hollows under my eyes.
The result was so very nice. I recall staring into my eyes in the mirror after surgery and really liking how much I could actually see my eyes without the hooding. I also thought that my eyes looked very much like someone else's eyes I had seen. It was uncanny. I kept staring at my eyes until I finally realized whose eyes they looked like. I am not going to disclose his name, but when I told Dr. Winslow she said, "Maybe he had an eye lid lift." Funny... you never know...
As I wrote above, I am glad that I went "all in" with my facial rejuvenation. If I would have gotten a face and neck lift only then the other parts of my face, such as my eyes would look out of place. There are a lot of pieces in one tiny area that are all interconnected. So fixing one part and not the other, to me, would look like a room that had the carpets replaced but was left with old drapes and wallpaper.
Recovery was easy and pain was well-tolerated... there was very little pain actually. My scars are invisible. The results that Dr. Winslow was able to give me were without a doubt worth the money that I spent.

You are right, you look absolutely wonderful- very pretty and youthful!
Thanks so very much, peaceful!
You def look young and beautiful! Now stop telling people you're 50 and roll with 40 and stay there. Forever 40 works for me. You look amazing.
THANKS! I really should stop telling people that I am 50! But then when I say that I have a granddaughter... well the cat's out of the bag! One of my clients today told me (and she is young, beautiful, thin) that she was shoved when I told her that I had a granddaughter. I told her that I am older than I look (and I had to bite my tongue from saying "and it cost a lot of money to get that way!"). Hahaha
I'm 45. I joined the "forever 40 club" a couple years ago. I tell everyone I'm 40. I hace2 grandchildren and one on the way. I also have older kids and small kids. Having little ones keeps me young. Sooooo... You belong in my club. Forget 50 and love 40! ;)
You look fantastic! Congratulations!
Thanks so very much!! Dr. Winslow does great work!
I am scheduled for "facial rejuvenation" ;) and like you, am going "all in". I will be having uppers and lowers done and am intriqued by the SMAS relocation?
I am looking forward to seeing your results! Good luck! The SMAS helped the hollows but did not completely resolve them. Dr. Winslow made me aware of that before we agreed on the procedure. It was worth the improvement that I got.
Thanks, you are so helpful. I have to remember the scalpel is a medical device, and not a magic one lol
I contact with www.dubaicosmeticsurgery.com for Eyelid surgery, but still i want more information about cost of Eyelid surgery. ??
