THREE WEEKS POST OP!!
WORTH IT$5,400
Hi all!! I still read about you all everyday! I LOVE hearing your successes and how incredibly supportive everyone is!
Today is my 3 week boobiversary!! I love them so much. I am so lucky I found this site because all I want to do is talk about my boobs!! I feel "braggy" when I talk to friends or family so you guys are my outlet!
I'm loading a few pictures too, but first I want to say how great it feels to sleep on my tummy or lean over my lap when I'm seated... THERE ARE SQUISHY, AWESOME BOOBS NOW!!
My incisions are healing nicely. The steristrips are off for good. My Dr. Says I can begin massaging the scar gently to break up the scar tissue before it becomes permanent. The scar is still a little tender so I'm only able to rub for a short period of time.
I KNOW from all your posts that my implants will continue to drop... But I would be completely happy if they stayed just like this! I do feel "boob greed" a tiny bit... But that's because I'm still in this compression bra and since the swelling is down, my cleavage is hardly noticeable. But when they are free... They are the most exciting and glorious sight!!

This is a post op photo. 9 days.
I'm still figuring out how to post comments vs posting replies. So, this is the only full body photo I have.
I'm almost 5'4" and weigh 125 with implants. I am very happy with my smooth, 350cc silicone Naturelles placed submuscular through infra mammary incision.
If you're anywhere near indianapolis Indiana CALL DR. JANET TURKLE!!!
She is so amazing! I spoke with many surgeons and had several consultations. Her office is 3 1/2 hours drive for me THROUGH A TIME CHANGE... And she is so worth it!

You look great !!! .. Too bad I'm in CA :( otherwise I would visit your surgeon

I have visited Dr. Turkle here in Indy and a couple of others. I have been a little uncomfortable with how little guidance Dr. Turkle gave on size. Did she recommend something for you or give you what you had asked for specifically? Did you go back after your consult?

Thankfully, a friend of mine referred me to Dr. Turkle. I'm really lucky she did. I knew the size range of where I wanted to be. "Wish pictures" and looking through before and afters really help you narrow down what you're comfortable walking around with on your chest. I wanted to be a smidge bigger than proportionate.
Dr turkle explained a lot about the implant shapes regarding the projection because I didn't want giant clown boobs. I wanted natural looking. I had my consultation July 8 and my surgery July 9. I WAS READY!

My husband and I have talked about surgery for 10...
My husband and I have talked about surgery for 10 years. I never "loved" my breast size except during breast feeding... Sadly those disappear as quickly as they appeared and they were worse than ever. My other mom friends and I lovingly refer to them as "pastry bags" because they're empty and sad. I'm happy I did my research and ADORE my surgeon! I'm two weeks post opp and it just gets better and better!

Congrats! You look great! May I ask what kind of implants you got and what your before and after stats are? Hope you keep having a great recovery!

I'm 32. My daughters are 10 and 8. I worked down to 123 pounds before surgery and wore a 34B but couldn't fill it up. There was always that disappointing gap between the bra material and my boob flesh.

Thanks for the response! What kind of implants did you get? How many ccs? Enjoy haha

July 24, 2014
Hi. Can I ask how tall are you? And how many cc's did you get. You're results look awesome and in proportion to your body, so I'm curious.

Shoot. I typed a whole bunch on that last comment. Wonder why it cut off! Oh well. Here are my deets:
I am a hair shy of 5'4" and this morning I weighed 125.6 with my big new boobies!! I have smooth, 350cc, silicone Naturelles in both right and left. They are under the muscle (submuscular) and the incision is hidden in my new boob crease! (Inframmary).
I went in looking to reach a heavy C cup, potentially D cup. My AMAZING SURGEON discussed cup sizes with me. And noted that when a woman comes in and asks for a "C", to her, that translates to "proportionate". My desire was to have squishy boobs that followed the natural droop and rested in the shape that would fit well into a cupped hand. I was more afraid to go too small than to go too big. I feel great about my choices.
I felt the gummy bear was too dense and didn't feel "swishy" enough for me. Too firm. Saline was too round and robust for what I wanted, and the tendency for "rippling" is more likely.
Overall, they soften and drop a little more each day I just know they'll be exactly right when they finally settle into my body!

Thanks for the reply! I'm 50/50 on saline and gummy bears. Every wish boob picture I love ends up being saline but the 3 doctors I'm looking at go with gel 95% of the time. I'm not committed to either one but I'm so torn lol And I love what you said about how you were more afraid to go too small than to go too big. Thats exactly how I feel, you just said it more succinctly than I ever have lol

Hello! I am going to Dr. Turkle in 3 weeks and I am so excited. She was very helpful at the consultation. Do you have any tips for recovery, etc? I think that is what I am mostly concerned about. I am going 300cc silicone, because I started out very very small. Thanks!

Congratulations and your surgeons work looks amazingly natural; in fact so much so that I've saved this link to show my PS. Thank you for sharing your pre and post op story. Stay well. Continue to do well and continue to enjoy your beautiful new 'real self'.
Best regards,
Jeanie
