WORTH IT
I tried to edit a mispelling from my last post but were not able to do it.
Correction:
”I would honestly say that before this surgery my jawline and cheek were around 5/10”.
I also wanted to add that 95% of the people I know have noticed the changes. But a noticeable results were something I requested.
The surgery made my face much more masculine. I used to look more like a ”boy”. Masculine, strong features whit a square chin and a strong jawline was what I asked for. The prominent zygos do also make the face much more masculine.

I'm glad you're liking your results! How much did the implants cost?
I'm hoping to see an official before after from, great looking implants!
Can I have pictures too please ? Want to do these procedures too
The positive reviewers for this doctor never give out photos and never disclose prices
the bottom line is dr eppley is very expensive. but most plastic surgeons are im assuming in the usa and developing countries. watch out for his revision policy. if you need the slightest revision he charges you FULL price with a two hundred dollar reduction. and dont think surgery carries risks. it does and it can happen to you..
I have been looking for an excellent doctor to perform this procedure as I am also looking for the masculine face look. Can you send me your before / after pictures. I appreciate it. Glad you are happy with your results.

5 MONTHS POST OP

I am just few days away from being 5 months post op from my jawline and cheek surgery. I had genioplasty + whole jawline implant and cheek implants. I've been lately very busy and will try to reply inbox messages later.

My last post was 3 months ago. So what can I say now? Well first of all I can tell that 3 months ago when I was 2 months post op I was very swollen compared to now. Let me make a timeline of how I would describe my swelling during this healing journey

1 MONTH: Extremely swollen + obviously post surgical
2 MONTHS: Very swollen + somewhat post surgical
3 MONTHS: Moderate swelling
4 MONTHS: Very little swelling
5 MONTHS: Minimal possible swelling?

So I can rather describe the swelling decreasing in months than in weeks. The best results started to show actually after 3 months It was then when I started to see more of the definition that was covered by masseter muscle swelling before. So if you go through a similar surgery and think at 2 months post op that your results look to big etc can tell you that if your recovery is like mine you could look very different in a couple of months.

Last time I said that I'd rate my results 8,5/10. Well this time I have asked my friends, relatives and even strangers (lol) to rate my jawline and zygo results. I have gotten an average of 9,5/10. Obviously before this surgery I would never had the courage to ask completely strangers to rate my results but after doing something so life changing I am very curious to get some realistic feedback that is not affected by some relationship (I think our friends tend to say things we want to hear). I would honestly say that before this surgery my jawline and cheek are were around 5/10. So it has been a huge improvement. I am now constantly being told how good it looks. This started to happen around 3.5 months post op when the swelling had decreased enough so my jaw angles could be seen clearly.

I am now enjoying the results, living it at fullest and doing all the things that I couldn't do before. I know that many people think that one shouldn't let the looks affect how you live your life and what you can do but for me it affected 100%. Also if people are more opened to you, tell you randomly that you look handsome of course it will affect your self-esteem. On the contrary I think bad self-esteem can also limit someones life.

One thing I have also bring up: chin implant surgery can not be compared to this surgery. It had a minimal effect compared to the change that this surgery brought. Fore someone it can be the best option however.

I am very thankful to Dr. Eppley and his team. He must be the best surgeon for jawline/chin/cheek/zygo/maxilla surgeries in the world! I recommend him 100%.

Update

At over 2 months post op I am doing great and my results have improved.
Nerves, muscles, facial movement etc are about 90% back to normal. I can smile, talk and move my face normally. No pain at all it just feels a bit weird if I smile very widely and the chin area feels sometimes a bit thigh. Al thought I feel back to normal I expect everything to be completely back to normal in a few months.
I am repeating myself now but the swelling has been the biggest challenge in this surgery. I asked for a big change- and I got exactly what I asked for. At this point the results have exceeded my expectations and I am relieved and happy about how great everything has gone. This surgery has created a big impact in many areas of my life - I think part of it is due to the self confidence and improvement in self-esteemed. Thought it's obvious that the change in the looks is a contributing factor on how you may see the world and how the world sees you.
I just want to highlight once more that if someone is going through similar surgery (jawline implant with other procedures) they have to be prepared for the possible swelling. If you have read other jawline implant reviews they state that usually 3-6 moths is the time when the swelling has really vanished. Specially the swelling in the jawline takes a lot of time to go completely down because basically your masseter muscle is lifted up and re-positioned. Now if you think about it I also had genioplasty done which probably added more swelling and stress in my jawline. So if you do this type of surgery (genioplasty and whole custom made jawline implant) you can expect the most powerful results, but also be prepared for the long recovery and a lot of swelling. For my experience I could say that it's all worth it if you just are patient. I thought that I was mentally prepared but still- it kinda took my by surprise. Also the bigger the implant the greater the swelling. My implant was BIG.
For the first 5 weeks after my surgery I tried to avoid seeing people I know to not look too obviously surgical. At 1,5 moths post op (3 weeks ago) I thought that pretty much all the swelling had resolved and was worried that the results looked asymmetrical. The truth was that as the swelling went down later this asymmetry resolved. I decided to do something. I asked a few very close familiars to analyze realistically how my recovery was going. They described my results as dramatic and that the improvement was great. My new jawline was masculine and strong.
One familiar who I saw 1,5 months post op and again at about 9 weeks post op stated that in that time my swelling had gone so much down that I looked different. Also in the photos it can be seen clearly how the swelling has changed my whole face structure from 1,5 months post op to today. So I could say that at 1,5 months post op I i was not able to see the final results yet. I saw very good results then but now it's even better (and still getting better).
I now see changes in the definition of my jawline. I wanted to get a professional opinion about my results and how I am doing. It was important to me to have a face to face consultation with the professional so I went to a local plastic surgeon consultation (I live about 7 000 kilometers away from Eppley). The plastic surgeon stated that my results look good and I have a bit of swelling left and they will continue improving. He took a few professional photos and analyzed my new face structure. It's hard to describe how happy I am from my results.
Eppley is a super skilled surgeon. How many are able to perform genioplasty, custom jawline implant and a cheek implant in one surgery? I am amazed on how easy the recovery has been regarding to pain, nerve/muscle healing and overall well-being.
I highly recommend him.
If I had to evaluate my results from 1 to 10 and 7/10 being "worth it" I would say that they are now 8,5/10 (my familiar stated the same). SO it's far beyond worth it! As the healing continues this number will most likely be even higher.
I will respond to the inbox request for surgery result photos.
