Carboxy Intensely Painful

I got carboxy today. It was the most intensely painful thing I have experienced voluntarily. I had it done on the backs of my thighs, around my knees, and on my stomach.
It does not hurt badly in places you don't have cellulite. My stomach has minimal fat so it was not painful at all. Just the pinch from the needle.
What you need to know before you get this done is that it's not the needle that hurts. It's the CO2 injection itself... The gas.
When it goes into the areas where you have cellulite, it literally feels like torture.
I have gotten laser hair removal on my entire body and this is so much worse. I can handle laser hair removal decently well. But this carboxy stuff is no joke. I have also been told by doctors that I have a high threshold for pain.
Also it's not permanent and you need multiple sessions. I cannot believe I decided to go through and endure the pain of the entire session. After the first needle I immediately said "There is no way I can do this" but she continued after giving me a minute. She wasn't pushy, but I think a few things about that. 1- she does it all the time and is used to getting her patients through the pain. 2- she probably knows that once you start it just makes sense to go through with it 3- the medspa wanted the money (duh)
This review is actually more of a warning to myself incase the results are good and I am considering doing it again. Future self. Do not do this again. (I am not in pain right now, and the pain only lasted as long as each injection which was very short---- see I'm already starting to convince myself I could endure it again. But all I could think when I was getting it done was that this must be how war criminals torture eachother. I'm not kidding. The momentary pain was horrible.)
But let me repeat, I did not have any pain in my stomach and other areas that do not have cellulite were not painful.
Basically... The painful places are the areas you need it most. So if it hurts it's working.
But I have no desire to pay for voluntary torture ever again.
