WORTH IT
I was completely on the fence about getting this procedure done for so many years. I dealt with reflux of the saphenous veins, bulging vericose veins, and even spider veins and I am only 34. My issues started at 18. I was so nervous about getting this done that I went to four different surgeons over a coirse of a year. So, if your nervous or your gut says your not 100% comfortable then keep looking. I found the one I was most comfortable with and who had the most experience. I found a surgeon and he was fantastic. I had the evlt done on both my legs (one leg at a time) This past Monday I had my second leg done. I would recommend it. If you suffer from vericose veins or reflux then your veins are no longer doing what they should. It will cause problems later on , for me it did. I did sleep the first day because I was put out for it which I would recommend. If you get nauseous at the sight of blood. I moved around a bit. Second day I made sure to walk every hour for 10 minutes!! This may be tiring but it will help prevent issues of blood clots. I had EVLT plus stab phlebectomy. Entirely worth it. Just take it easy.

So, Since I was 18 years old Ive had these ugly veins sticking out. Im thin but when I wore shorts people would tend to look at my legs verse my face.
I went over in my head several times for many years about getting them removed. I hated them. I caught myself constantly thinking about them. If your like me and your almost at this point then your almost ready to get them out.
I said to myself so many times "what are the pros, what are the cons of the lazer treatment? Will I have lasting side effects? Will I get sick? Will O be in extreme pain? Should I be awake?"
I will answer these for you.
Pros - those hideous ugly veins are gone and your youthful SeXY legs will be back. You will claim back your right to wear skirts (even if you dont like skirts you will want to wear them after if youve dealt with them a long time). You will feel sexier. I had no side effects or issues at all. Everyone is different though. Im a big baby with this stuff. Lazer seems the best option.
Cons - the recovery, but not horrible. Some people saying they went right back to work, uhhh not me. I was in bed the first 24. Sleeping. I was put to sleep for the procedure and sleep helped alot. Then I moved around a bit after walking 10 minutes every hour. Make sure to elevate your leg if sitting. I heard of people not getting the lazer and they choose to have vein stripping and with that you have a chance of the vein growing back with no valves at all but you would have to question your doctor because Im not 100 % certain.
I had a pain level of 3 on a level of 10. Sometimes 4.
No side effects.
I would be put out. There no way I wouldve been awake for that!
*** what really helped me was using a light antibacterial bar soap. Put some soap on a warm washcloth while your sitting on the bathtub. Put your leg in the bath while sitting. Lather the soap really good on the warm washcloth and drape the washcloth on your leg. Slowly and lightly wash your leg. Keep soaking the washcloth with warm water. THIS felt fantastic!!! Brought alot of relief!

Wow, your legs look great. Thanks for the review. I’m considering Radiofrequency ablation or Laser ablation for my CVI. I don’t have varicosities, and they aren’t visible, but I do have frequent alarming swelling and they are also painful if I don’t wear compression stockings. Thanks for the review.

Gorgeous!! Getting this done next Friday ! Thanks for the pics!
Pain is no good, even if you cant see them. Mine were visible and would swell badly somedays.
I wish you luck!
