Revised canthoplasty - 6th week post-op & my eyes look like mine again

For the past several years, I didn’t think my eyes could be corrected after seeing several plastic surgeons. I had a canthoplatsy about 15 years ago that made my eyes smaller, the corners rounded and one eyelid, the lower eyelid went straight across compared to the other eyelid that was slightly curved. About a year ago, a PS that I scheduled a consultation with to see if he could correct my eyes told me I needed an oculoplastic surgeon. He referred me to Dr. Massry.

I decided to make my consultation with Dr. Massry a few months after. Dr. Massry told me that he would do his best to fix.my unique situation via a revised canthoplasty but couldn’t guarantee the results since it would depend on a few factors, one being how I healed. I felt so confident during my consultation that Dr. Massry could fix my eyes, to at least look better, that I scheduled my surgery the next day. I felt I was in great hands.

About 3 weeks after my surgery, I could see that my surgery was a great success. Not only was the doctor able to fix my round corners but he was able to lengthen my eyes and curve my lower lids to look like they were prior to my surgery over 15 years ago. My eyes were also finally symmetrical. I’m in my 6th week since my surgery and my eyes keep looking better and better. I know they will continue to improve as they heal.

I am ecstatic with my results! My eyes look like my eyes again.
