Post-op assessment later!

So, came out of hospital 1 week ago, got my post-op later and will hopefully have the rest of these plasters taken off over my stitches. I have the whole time never known the 'cc' of my implant but can say I checked today and it's 345! I am currently filling a DD bra which is perfect, I love it! They still feel a bit alien to me, but every day they look better and better as they soften in! I've tried to do the best I can of some boobie selfies on my iPad but bare with me I'm not too good at it lol...

2nd day!

It's now Thursday night time, and I'm still getting used to these new boobs! Just catching my reflection or getting changed just reminds me how real it all is now! Had my first proper bath today and it was lovely, nice to get some warm water on me and clean away all the iodine marks and sticky patches from the op. I'm still full in my tummy from the anaesthetic and that's half just as uncomfortable as my chest itself! I'm keeping the pain to a minimum with ibuprofen and paracetamol but I find I'm getting tired easily which is expected after the past few days! Shape and size is starting to settle in, but trust me, they look better as the days go on, can see such an improvement since Tuesday already :)

1st night at home..

Ok so this is my first night back at home, the pain is starting to niggle! Keeping it at bay with pain killers but my chest does feel tight! I've still had more pain from other minor injuries but this is more of an uncomfortable feeling, bit like an elephant sitting on my chest! Today my angel of a nurse Theresse was looking after me all day and now I've got back to reality at home it's a real grumpy feeling! My stomach is still swollen slightly from the anaesthetic so hopefully in the next day it will go down! Sleeping sitting up or even slightly elevated is hard work :-(

Provider Review

Specialist Registered Plastic Surgeon
The Chaucer Hospital , Canterbury,

So far, so good! Really happy with my surgeon John! He doesn't tell you only what you want to hear, he tells you the truth. He's realistic and outlines the pros and cons before he even starts. John has told me the likely result and shape and what is achievable with my body shape/size/weight. Everyone else I've spoken to has been vague or fabricated the look I'm actually going to get! A very genuine and honest surgeon!
