WORTH IT$7,325
I'm new to this site, so this may take me a minute to get used to. I wasn't always interested in getting a BA. I actually was quite happy with my chest until recently. Around age 20/21 I was a 32DD, and on the verge of needing a larger bra. After quitting birth control and losing weight (presumably from my chest only) I've shrunk down to a 32C, but not a full C. I'm hoping to achieve 2 full cup sizes with surgery, taking me back to where I was previously.
I've met with Dr. Simona Pautler recently, and decided on her as my surgeon. She's not at all what I expected for a Plato surgeon. She's incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, shared firsthand experiences, and she's very down to earth. I feel very comfortable with her. We began to discuss size at the first consultation, but will decide more at my next appointment on July 22nd. So far, we've selected round silicone Allergan Natrelle implants, under the muscle. I'm unsure of profile as of yet, leaning towards mod plus or HP as I don't want a lot of side boob.
Surgery date is set for August 3rd, and I'm trying to gather supplies, so any advice is welcome and greatly appreciated. I don't have a history of scarring badly, so I'm thinking any type of oil will actually suffice for the scars. I am very pale, not sure if that'll cause issues...

A couple before shots
So, this part scares the [RS bleep] out of me, but I'm hoping it proves helpful to other members, and even for myself to look back on. I was going to blur out my tattoos, but I've never been afraid of modifying my body before, so why be afraid if people find out about the BA?
I've started gathering supplies.. have ice packs, bromelain, vitamin c, oil similar to bio oil, and a few bras. I was told to get at least one bra in a larger band size to accommodate for swelling. I wasn't too concerned with spending money on silicone scar sheets, as I've never had scars raise on me much, and even my tattoos for the most part healed rather flat. But as I'm super pale I'm wondering if it would be a wise investment or not? Anyone have input on that?
I'm asymmetric, as most woman are, and the left breast sits lower on my rib cage by a little bit. Dr. Pautler said she'd try to camouflage that fact when she does the surgery, so I don't have a scar lower under the right breast. I'm getting rather excited for the pre op visit! I really feel at ease with Dr. Pautler and think she's going to be able to give me the look I want. This website has been incredibly helpful since I have a realistic expectation of what my breasts will look like in the early post op days... not always pretty, they do seem to go through stages, but most women seem to end up really happy after even as little as one month.

Little over a month to go..
So I'm feeling pretty anxious and excited at this point. Work has been super busy which is helping the time pass quickly. I've purchased a few more sports bras, shaped more like a normal bra for wearing until I can do an underwire again.
I'm posting some wish boob pictures; hopefully Dr. Pautler can accomplish something similar on me. I'm worried that bigger boobs may add to my shortwaistedness, but I'm unhappy with my proportions now, so it can only be an improvement. I'm very hippy and I'm growing quite the ass from so many squats! It would be great to have a chest to balance out the bottom end.
So many ladies on RS seem to go in knowing exactly what size they're getting, and I'm kind of leaving that up to my PS. She definitely seems more than competent, and I feel like if I just show her the look I'm going for, she can figure out what to install, haha.
Hoping this month flies by, I'd love to just have this over with because some days the anticipation can really weigh on me.
Anyone else out there clueless about what size they're getting?

Same day here! When is your pre-op? Is that when the size will be decided? I know the specifics of what I"m getting, but I can understand that having the perfect picture and trusting your PS to do her magic is a great way to go! Maybe she will discuss it in more depth at the pre-op. Mine is in exactly two weeks, 7/15. As far as the silicone scar sheets- ask your PS what she recommends. I know mine uses them and I think they have them available in the office and help apply them at a post-op visit.

My pre op is July 22nd, and I'm sure we'll narrow down the size and profile then, but o do think I'm leaving it mostly up to her. I really do feel comfortable and trust her. This is her job, she's done this thousands of times, I expect she knows what is best for me.
I don't typically have trouble with scarring; I've never had very red or raised scars. They usually lie flat and stay pale. So I wasn't going to spend the money on scar sheets, Dr. Pautler agreed. She said any type of emollient when combined with massage is going to help, and I'm big into natural oils, so I have a couple giant jars of coconut oil, raw cocoa butter, and vitamin E oil. If the scars don't look to be improving fast enough I may resort to the silicone sheets, but I think I'll be okay. Haha, am I too calm and confident about this?!

Well, that's definitely a good thing! I don't scar well at all, so I think/hope the silicone will help me. I love coconut oil and use it daily. I also have Palmer's with vit e and got the kit from Eden Knows Implants. I feel pretty well prepared with skin care. Are you talking about scar massage? I need to look into that more and ask my PS about it.

Yes to scar massage. I know at some point you massage the implants, but the scar tissue can also be helped by massage with oils. So I've been told. I was also told to avoid taking fish oil and vitamin E PRIOR to surgery as it can negatively affect healing, but that they'd be safe to take afterwards. Hopefully this month goes quickly. Like you, I have a lot going on with my family this month (my dad passed at the end of may and my brother is coming home soon for the funeral next week) Plus I work in a bakery, so holidays mean long hours which helps keep my mind busy and makes time fly. Seems like so many things in my life are going crazy, I look forward to having a week off after surgery to just unwind..

So sorry to hear about your dad :-(. It does sound like July will be very busy for you and then the big day will be here! Very good to know about the oils with scar massage. I will look into that.
It's so unfair that weight loss hits the boobs first! Glad you have this opportunity to get them back. Here is a helpful list of recovery supplies. And feel free to join the August 2015 breast augmentation forum. It will become quite busy as we get closer to August!
