The Journey Continues...

Well, it's been 7 months since my TT & I'm doing great! I still have alot of numbness, but that is normal! (So I'm told) I'm now 58 years old. I've been back to my surgeon several times since the surgery. I just saw him a couple of weeks ago & I've scheduled another surgery. There is a small revision needed on my TT & on my breast reconstruction (May 2013) & I'm going to have lipo on my thighs. The surgery is scheduled for June 4, 2014.....less than a month away! So excited!!

Update

I went to the dr yesterday to get some fluid drained. Just got a little; about 10 cc's or so. And he took out a stitch that had worked it's way to the surface. I'm feeling so much better each and every day! I'm down about 10 lbs so far. I think once I get back to walking regularly, I will lose some more. I'm only about 7 lbs from where I want to be anyway! I still can't wear jeans or anything that has anything besides an elastic waistband. It just hits me in the wrong place and makes me hurt when I don't have to. I do find that wearing Spanx or a similar garment does feel better than not wearing it. My next post op appointment is in January. At that time we will be discussing further lipo. The journey continues...............

Dr Visit

I got my final drain out this morning! What a relief!! I really think I will feel much better now that it is out! Also, I get to move from my binder to a Spanx type garment! Yippy!! I was a very good day until I got one of the worst migraines I've ever had! Oh well, feeling better now. Another Dr appointment in one week.

Dr. Lewis did my reconstruction surgery in May, 2013. I instantly liked him and so did my husband! He's very down to earth and easy to talk to but very professional!
