This process was planned for month through Dr. Panama in Cancun's Mexico. She was great to work with once my local friend started the ball rolling to communicate. Difficult to access her service through emails.

Request to have neck and eyes and mole work done. I arrived a few days early from Canada and paperwork was in place for blood, X-ray, cardio tests. All checked out. Prescriptions given for day after procedure. Hospital booked for nov 30. The procedure took two to three hours. She has her own anastegialagist she works with. All the staff were pleasant and assuring through the process. I have a home in Cancun so this was a day procedure and returned home and ensured I had someone to oversee any needs I may have over the coming days.

This doctor was referred to me through two other family members who both had work done (eye for one, breasts for another). Both were pleased with their results.

I am not looking to be a new me I just want to refreshen up my look so that I stop looking so tired and grumpy.

This will sound like a silly question, however, I am curious whether you are wearing eyeliner in these post-op pictures or is that bruising or stitches? Thank you for sharing your story.

No that is just bruising...no make up...
I do have a faint eye liner tattoo but really not part of the lovely colours around the eyes at this time.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! I've been wondering about costs in this part of mx. I can't believe you've been able to do so much so inexpensive. Please keep us updated with pictures and every single detail.

Hi Shannon, thanks for sharing so much of your story. You look fantastic!.! Did you have to do your blood tests in Canada or were you able to have all of that done in Cancun?

All the testing was done before the procedure in Cancun.

Happy to hear things are going well.

Is the incision on your neck going straight down? Was the $3900 fee just for the doctor? Were there extra charges for the anesthesiologist?

It worked out total $5400 cdn for doctor, anestesiologist, hospital ...all one payment to dr office. Extra costs were the meds, blood work and X-ray and cardiologist exam...maybe another $300 cdn Total.

The incision goes up and around the ear like most examples for this procedure...pretty standard.

Day five...eye stitches and tapes removed

Feels great to get the tapes and stitches removed. Eyes close great. Swelling and bruising still something to work on through icing and rest. Neck looks great. Next week the ear stitches get removed. Just learned that my earlobes got altered and in two months can get my ears repierced. Still have to remind myself this is only day five since surgery.

Your neck looks great! I'd love to go to Mexico, but scares me to go abroad. Any reassuring thoughts?
