I had heard that Dr Vlad was very good, but very good doesn't even come close!! He is a wonderful !!
I could not be more happy with my breast reduction. They look perfect and I am only 3 weeks post op. I can only imagine that they will keep looking better and better as I heal completely.
I have wanted a breast reduction for years and after meeting Dr Vlad, I was confident that I wanted him to be my surgeon. His sense of humour and no BS approach made me feel instantly comfortable. He tells you exactly how it is and give you a realistic professional opinion. He didn't try and sell me, it was actually the opposite. He tried to talk me out of the operation. Ha ha.
The pre op appointments were very informative, I knew exactly what I was getting into. The day of my surgery everything went so smoothly, I couldn't fault the care I was given. I woke up with minor pain and perfect small boobs.
The post operative care I have received has exceeded my expectation. The girls at the Surgery are so lovely. They greet me every time with a big smile and remember who I am. Not once did I ever feel like just a number when going into the surgery or seeing Dr Vlad.
I would recommend him to everyone. I had high expectations of what I hoped this process would be like. Thanks to Dr Vlad and his team my expectations weren't just met they have been well and truly exceeded.

"BEST" I mean Breast Reduction!!!
AB86September 19, 2014
For any one out there who is thinking about a reduction but your scared or worried do be!! Obviously make sure you have a great surgeon but having this procedure was the best decision I have ever made!! I am 28 a slim build and about 165cm.. my boobs were a 10F. WAYYY too big for my body. I hated them. I hated the attention, I hated that I couldn't find clothes, bras and when summer came around wearing a bikini at the beach.. forget it!! I worked up the courage to finally see a surgeon after many break downs where I would feel so suffocated, trapped and uncomfortable by my big boobs it would make me cry.
I had my first appointment and then after a nightmare with Private health cover I was booked in for my operation. Let me tell you first hand the excitement that you feel knowing that after a 2 hour operation your life will be changed forever. I woke up after my surgery feeling pretty good. Thirsty as hell!!! but really good. I stayed the first night in a beautiful recovery hotel. I still had drains in but was able to walk around (carefully) eat some dinner and dribble on randomly to my family about god knows what.. ( The drugs they gave me well and truly did their job)
Day 1 post op! I woke up feeling a bit stiff because sleeping sitting upright on a stack of pillows is not comfortable. I had a nice breaky and then the Dr came to take out my drains. They were a lot smaller than i was expecting to look at them but they go into your boob a long way. It didn't hurt coming out but did feel pretty gross. As soon as the drains came out my pain level dropped down to about a 2/10. The drive home wasn't very fun. you don't realise how bumpy the roads are until you have half your boobs cat off. lol. But my boyfriend drove very carefully.
Day 1 - 3. I was sore but nothing unmanageable.. I layed in bed watching movies and having lots of naps. You get very sleepy very easily for the first few days. I was lucky enough to have my mumma come and stay with me. I had a plan that while she was staying i would work up to being able to walk up to the little café near my house and take her for lunch...come day 4 I did it!!! I was able to go for a 10 min walk and sit at a café and enjoy a nice lunch with my mum.
My mobility was getting a lot better, the pain still was never more than a 4/10 and the worst part so far was having to sleep sitting upright. OWWW it hurts your neck. lol I would wake in the night with a stabbing pain in my left boob. This seemed to happen at the same time each night. I would sit up and move around abit and the pain would lessen.
Nipple sensitivity... so they say there is a possibility that you lose sensation in your nipped post surgery. I was willing to pay that price to have smaller boobs.. but it has gone the other way for me. I have the worlds most sensitive nipples. Even a cold drink gives me ridiculous nipple stag. hahaha. It makes me laugh all the time. Im 5 weeks post op now and they are beginning to go back to normal.
At 5 weeks my incisions are completely closed over. I still wear silicon tape over them to help reduce the scars but i am really happy with them so far.
I also noticed that over the past 5 weeks the shape of my boobs has changed a lot. at first they were a little pointy and one was significantly more swollen than the other. But now they have settleled a little and are more round and almost exactly the same size. I love them!!!!! oh and you know what else is amazing... Anyone who has big boobs will totally get this. ... I am now able to wear nothing but a soft cotton ah bra and i still have small perky boobs. soft crop bras were NEVER an option with the monster boobs i had before. So at 5 weeks post op.. I am so in love with my new boobs and the whole process has been better than i even imagined.
