23 Months Since Rhinoplasty

Most surgeons asked African Americans to wait 24 months for the finally result from having rhinoplasty. I will be leaving the country next month and wanted to give my update. I am not totally pleased with my resuts, one side of my nose is more defined than the other and the Dr. Cory Torgerson tried but failed to correct this. My nose is too pointed and the tip is rather high. The tip looked perfect right after surgery according to his staff, but changed over the course of time. The bridge is strong, yet it enchanced my eyes. My nostrils were NOT thin as requested, so my nose is pointed down the bridge to the tip and thick around the nostrils. It's unique and I find myself contouring my nose especially the left side to fit the right side. Given what it looked like prior to now I will give Dr. Torgerson and 6 out of 10. His bedside manner is terrible. And for me (perhaps he may have changed) he is NOT comfortable nor skillful enough to do phinoplasty on African nose's. Also, really important if you are from another county make sure you discuss with him the legal paperwork. He waited approximately 45 mins prior to my surgery and said, "Oh, I forgot to give this you to sign it's a paper stating since you are not a Candian you cannot sue me if anything should go wrong with the surgery." Then while I was on the table he reiterated again in front of his staff and for the recording in the OR. What the hell? I am not about to debate with a surgeon moments aways from my surgery, so I simply said. I will not sue you" You can be the judge, but I would NOT recommend him for this type of surgery for people with or has similar African's nose.
