Crickets. I’m fairly new to this site and wondering if it is like a social network and I need to “like” or otherwise respond to others posts in order to get a response? I read others posts and find many helpful, but haven’t responded. Is this the reason?

Thanks for any replies.

I've had an overall good experience with the doctor. Only initially once when I stated I wasn't quite happy with the results did he seem a little impatient. He has admitted that he also is not happy with the results and suggested a revision as the goal is that I am happy with my results. The staff is always very helpful.

No it's not like a social network. It's just that no one has commented. I'm sorry I don't have experience with what you are asking. Good luck! Your post showed up in my weekly emails from RS!
Thank you, I appreciate your response!
I think there is more chance that if you had commented on some one else's post they would also comment on your post. I am sorry to hear about your experience. Have you discussed with your surgeon why you didn't get the expected results? Have you seen photos of his patients? Is he charging you for the revision?
Thank you for your response. That makes sense. We’ve discussed options, and yes, like most physicians, he will wave his fee, however I need to pay for the anesthesiologist and the center, which he owns.
Any progress on resolving your issue? I have no experience of my own to offer, but I'm curious how you're doing.
As I only had the procedure two months ago, I need to wait some time for healing to occur. Unfortunately, I would need to pay the Anesthesiologist as well as the center which the doctor owns, as most do, however not the doctors fee him self. Apparently this is standard but disappointing. Thank you for your concern.
That's a bummer -- I hope you're able to get it resolved and get the results you were hoping for.
Did you get a revision?
Do you have any before photos for us to compare to? Could you please tell me how it is holding up as I went to my surgeon today for a consult for the MAC lift and he said after six months it may sag by up to 50% compared to when I first have it done. Did you fnd this? It is the one thing holding me back from going ahead if my face sags again so soon. Also did it help your neck at all as mine sags or just minimally. Id like to see how bad your neck was before compared to the photos you showed?
I actually had a revision last July. The link with photos are below. I think it really depends on your facial structure. I have a very thin face and my platysmal bands were strong ones. MACS definitely dud not work for me. I opted for a neck and mid face lift along with a lip lift for symmetry correction. Happy with the mid lift, the neck lift is good, but not perfect. Very easy to dro po, however others have found it effective. Myself, I wish I had done it in the first place. Would have saved me alot of suffering and money. Hope that helps and best of luck to you.

I had a Mini Macs lift and fat transfer to...

I had a Mini Macs lift and fat transfer to eliminate neck bands, jowls and add fat under eyes in mid March. In the first photo, the bands are not as prominent, but from side view, yuck. I had no lump under my chin before. I've had 8 ultrasound treatments. The Dr. agreed he also isn't seeing the results he expected, along w/ fat transfers in various areas of my face which didn't take. He suggested a revision & also removing the pillows under the sides of my eyes and adding fat to inside, which in retrospect I think he should have done in the first place. I dread having to go through this procedure again!
Has anyone had a similar experience, revisions or anything they can share?
Thank you!

I think you should talk to him about platismoplasty to take full care of your neck
Thank you for your response. His concern was that the look might be too tight, however I may need to choose this procedure.
You didn't have a platysmaplasty? My understanding is that this is standard of care for a lower lift. Otherwise, what is the point?
He seemed to feel that this would be adequate and not as much of a severe look as the platysmaplasty.. He’s had success in the past with Mac lifs and I have noticed a number of other people on this site have as well, but unfortunately that was not the case with me. Thank you for your response.
Most get platysmaplasty with MACS. I would question his judgement. I do not believe that is the part that lends itself to looking "overdone." It is the only way to address neck bands from what I have read (other than botox).
Ok, thank you. My understanding was that it was one or the other.
I wold be very leary of giving him a second crack at you.
Thank you. I got a second opinion from one of the top physicians in our area, discussed my concerns, etc with the initial doctor and feel comfortable with moving forward, but not looking forward to the process. I won’t be doing another fat graft, but adding a couple of other procedures.
