All is wonderful. Couldn’t be happier. Merry daughter says it knocked off at least 10 yrs from my eyes.

First time wearing makeup

10 days of living but doing nothing but the healing regiment. But I was invited to a party and I don’t have scabs so I hooked up my makeup.
I for the first time ever highlighted my lid by the lashes and could see the color white my eyes open! So fun.

It is definitely worth it! If you have a good doctor you shouldn't be afraid at all. Nervous is normal, but getting the extra vertical peripheral vision is great. Check out my post about my eyes. I had a lot of bruising because of my skin type, but had no pain. If I have to do it again, I would.

Congratulations on your great results! Isn't it wonderful? Mine are deep-set and small, too. I just had my surgery in September and I haven't regretted it at all. I do have some bumpy scars, but I don't let them worry me, I know my doctor can fix them if needed.

It’s unbelievable. I can’t say my regiment is what brought my exceptional results and that of course my amazing dr. Dr Hoffman, Campbell and Palo Alto. Anyway I did not read through the pot op. Shame on me.
But here is what I did:
1 day before surgery, I dropped 4 tabs of arnica in the morning. Then again after dinner, 4 tabs arnica.
Morning of surgery- NOTHING but a hot shower!
Got home and took 4 tabs of arnica, slept. Placed pea bags with one layer of bandana to create a barrier between eyes and frozen peas. I wrapped it around my head and fell asleep with them on for 20 min. Take off repeat every few hours. And did peas for 2 days consistently and 3rd day at night. Then stopped because I didn’t swell.
I used a wedge pillow for my boobs too but stop sleeping on the side of your face. Causes wrinkles and not good for recovery. Elevate your head minimize excessive blood flow.
Day 1 post op and forward: Arnica 3 tabs am and 3 tabs pm repeated this for 4 days post op.
Also every morning and night I used a hot overly dampened wash cloth and rested it on my eyes, gently adding mild pressure to clean out sleep -clear away life, then wash my face not to stretch my skin around my eyes either. I typically never use face wash! And I didn’t start and will not. But hot water daily.
Also on my eyes I gently dabbed aquafor on the eye lid minimal after washing.
On day 4 post op saw dr to remove stitches. Shocked I had no bruising or swelling. I used aquafor for 1 more day then started using Biocornium that the office provided.

Today is day 7. I have no makeup on my upper eye lids or eye lashes. I just have sunblock on my face and powder, the bio cream on my upper eye lid and a little eye liner under my lower eye corner.
I’m super pleased.
