I never would've thought I'd be someone to post...

I never would've thought I'd be someone to post pics of my boobs online, but here I am! After searching futilely for photos and stories online of women going for small implants (less than 200cc) and finding very very little, I thought it might benefit others like me (if there are any!) for me to share my story and pics.
I've always been very small - just barely a AA. My chest has always been my biggest source of insecurity. However, the fear of surgery and complications has always stopped me from seriously considering getting implants. This changed after having my babies. My boobs became even smaller and deflated, and the nipples are now permanently "on". I can no longer look at the mirror without feeling sadness and embarrassment.
So I'm taking the plunge and will be having my surgery in 2 weeks. I am quite nervous about it and not entirely happy with the decision, but at the same time, I can't imagine having to live with these nonexistent boobs for the rest of my life.
I've decided that I only want to become a size "A". I'd like my boobs to look like the size they pretend to be while in a padded bra, without having to wear a padded bra anymore. People have expressed concern that maybe I should go bigger, but I'm actually going up 2 sizes just to get to an "A" and I'm perfectly happy with that. I'd like it to look natural and I really don't want people to know that I got the procedure done.
I don't remember all the specific details, but I will be going in to have 175cc Allergan round smooth silicone implants put in. I really wanted the Sientra ones, but they are currently not available and my plastic surgeon doesn't think the small benefits over the other brands are worth the wait. I'm open to hear other opinions though!
Anyhow, I hope this will be helpful to others like me who just want a small augmentation. I'll update as my journey goes on.

Hi. I hate to say "I want to see your (new) boobs"...but I do! I am trying to be funny...I know it's not funny. But the thing of it is that I have been poking around this site, looking for photos of someone who has made a small change, and I don't see any. I am thinking that you and I both are interested in the same thing -- ie, the same sort of change -- because we live near each other. I am 15 miles up the road (from Campbell). The south bay ideal is to be healthy and look natural and "natural" is not the outcome most people desire from this procedure. You wrote my exact thoughts: "I would like my boobs to look like the size they pretend to be in a padded bra." My breasts are slightly larger than yours, but I am also a bit heavier (I can tell by your arms). If I take even five pounds off, which I am thinking I want to do, I am in the same boat. So, I am not losing weight because I am concerned that my chest will be too small? This is silly -- it is healthier to be thin. My questions to you are: When you found a doctor, did he/she try to talk you into doing more of a change? Also, are you free to share / interested in sharing who will do this procedure for you? Given that you don't want anyone to know...and I am totally with you on that...I think you are courageous to give it a try. I think you have made a good, sensible decision with the 175 cc based on the other stories i read (and no true knowledge of this). I am older than you are, in my 50s. Wish I had considered this in my 40s but was still too tubby after having kids. You are going to look GREAT. Thank you for sharing your story.

Hi jwkfc2014, thanks so much for your thoughtful and encouraging comment. I'm so glad to know that I am not the only one interested in a small (but significant to me) change. I will for sure update with photos after my surgery.
I met with 2 plastic surgeons and neither tried to tell me or even suggested that I should go bigger. Perhaps it's because I'm on the petite side, so it wasn't such a stretch to go so small. However, neither had many small sizers to try on. One office had to special order the size I wanted to try.
I will update my review with my surgeon's info after the surgery... Once I have a better sense of what to say about her!

Sounds good. Thanks so much. I was just looking at one woman who was got 400ccs added. She looked good to begin with. I thought, "I just want what you started with!" I think not too much is the way to go. You will look perfect. Best wishes.

When I decided to have breast implants last December I decided from a size b pushup bra to a 36c . I really did not want to bring attention to myself and I was gonna do this just for me. I was trying to look as normal as possible . I absolutely love the look that I have now. Thanks to Dr Orseck

It's now 2 days after my surgery. I just took a shower and thought I'd post a couple of pics.
Its been a painful couple of days, but I think it's getting better. I'm still taking my pain pills though.
My plastic surgeon has been amazing so far. She personally called before and after the surgery and she was able to get a hold of the Sientra implants that I really wanted before the company officially re-released them. So I have Sientra textured round 175cc implants. Yay!
I have to admit, the first peak I made into my surgical bra, I thought, "Oh oh, they look so small!". But now that I've had a chance to take a good look - I'm pretty happy. I think my boobs look kinda cute ????. The incision looks pretty rough though, so I hope it doesn't scar too badly.
I'll post again later once I've recovered more and have a better sense of my new bra size.

Thank you for adding your story. I have been trying to research other people who have less than 200cc and couldn't find much. I would like to go from an A to a B, so 145cc to 175cc is what I am thinking might be good. Why did you prefer the textured over the smooth? I think you look great and the size is perfect because people won't notice a huge difference from your padded bras. That's perfect. Who was your doctor? Thanks.

Hi leah009 - thanks for your comment! I preferred the textured Sientra implants because of the lower capsular contraction rate. My PS is Dr. K Zeidler - she's been amazing so far.

Ok thank you. Was 175cc the smallest Sientra textured implants available or could you get an even smaller size? I'm thinking around 145 cc?
March 2, 2016
I believe 175cc was the smallest. At my postop appointment yesterday, my plastic surgeon said that mine were the smallest implants she's ever done! Lol

After breastfeeding two kids, my breasts look just like yours.
I am 5' 4", 100 pounds and have always had small breasts, and I was perfectly fine with it! But after breastfeeding, I was literally left with nothing. I am contemplating implants, but I want them to fit my body size and probably be right around 200cc. I look forward to seeing more pictures and hearing about your results!!

Hi - I'm 5'2" and around 110lbs, so you're thinner than I am. I'm still getting used to my new boobs, but I think these 175cc implants fit my frame perfectly. They're bigger than what I had before my babies and I think bigger even than my breastfeeding boobs.

I believe it! Are you happy with them so far? Do you like the size? Update us with some new pics over time if you will - even if it's with clothes on so we can see the difference. Thanks again.

Added some pics! Every time I look at them I think "Wow - they're SO huge!", but then I look at them with clothes on and they're just right. So far so good! And nobody suspects a thing!

It's now been a week since my surgery and I'm still sore. I can lift my arms and move around much more easily now, but everything still feels tight and swollen. I still take 2-3 Vicodin a day to take the edge off the pain. It's hard having two 2-yr olds relying and jumping on me!
Here are a few photos to update!
