WORTH IT
I started noticing at the beginning of last year that the skin on my neck was getting loose and I tried to ignore it at first then tried unsuccessfully to cover it with scarves etc, and then decided to just accept it. I then lost some weight during that summer ( about a stone) and it took its toll on my neck even more and on my face, all of a sudden I had jowls. I realised then that I couldn't live with a face I no longer recognised as me. Leading up to surgery I was very worried but I found the whole procedure painless with minimal discomfort. Anyone out there wondering whether or not to do it, my advice is go for it, I haven't had any regrets whatsoever.

What a fantastic result, your necks look really good. What made you go to Richard Price? Was it a recommendation? How did you find him personally?

Thank you. I knew nothing about cosmetic surgery or anyone who had had any surgery so I just googled it and found 3 surgeons local to where I live. Richard Price was the 3rd surgeon I saw and he seemed more informative than the other 2 which was why I went with him.

I am thinking about consulting Richard Price on the recommendation of a friend. I have already had a consultation with Dominic Bray. can you please tell me how much your surgery cost and if you had sedation or full anesethic. As I want the same procedure.

Hi there, I paid £6823. I had a general anaesthetic with a 1 night stay at the hospital.

Hi bronte - did you have a consultation with Richard Price? Or anyone else you could recommend? Thanks.

I had a consulation with Domic Bray for neck and mid face lift and lower eyes he was very kind but the cost was £17.000 under local sedation this also included a hotel for the first night. I am now going to get a consultation with Richard Price. I am very interested in Dr Harley in Ashville so may consider travelling. I hope to have the operation next March/April.

Hi again bronte - wow, £17K??? Would you be kind enough to let us know how you get on with your consultation with Richard Price? Koh samui's result looks brilliant and I'm very interested in a consultation with him, but location isn't ideal for me. However, I'm prepared to inconvenience myself for the right surgeon! (It's not too far, but still...). Dr Harley looks fantastic, but I'm too scared to go abroad for surgery. Good luck!

Hi koh samui, just came across your review and you look fantastic, what a great result! Do you mind me asking if you had an under-chin incision? It's so hard to find reviews of other UK surgeons (a few seem to have monopolised this website, giving the impression that there are no other reputable ones about, but this clearly isn't true, as in your case). How have your scars healed - any chance of a quick update? Thank you for sharing your experience.

Hi heartsease, thank you very much. I didn't have an under-chin incision. My scars have healed really well, it's been 8 months now since I had my lower face/neck lift and I will take some more photos
tomorrow of the scars and post them for you to see.

Thank you so much. Yes I'm very happy with the results. When I look at how I was prior to my face lift I find it hard to believe I actually looked so bad.

I had a neck lift and had eyes done nine years ago and still enjoying the benefits :)
Hi there, and welcome! Thanks for sharing! What a great result! You look amazing. Did you have any swelling or bruising to deal with?
