12 month explant and capsule removal update
Firstly I feel amazing. Be sure and remove the capsule. My implants were ruptured findings by an ultrasound. Even if your implants aren't ruptured the capsule will contain chemicals from the implants. If you do not remove the capsule you will more than likely remain I'll. I didn't have a local like I thought I couldn't even imagine! No way. I went under. My pain is almost gone. Now just from my job. Neck hump smoothed. Regain muscle. I had hyper thyroid diagnosed at 9 months after explant, re_tested at 12 months normal! Brain fog 85% better. Get those bags out, best decision yet. Maybe go for a fat transfer. I'm thinking about it now. Facebook group Breast Implant Illness and Healing by Nicole ALL info you need be sure and join before removal.
Hi I'm Rhonda 41. I've had my left 500cc and right...
Hi I'm Rhonda 41. I've had my left 500cc and right 550cc INAMED silicone implants for 8 years and I had the surgery done in Las Vegas. I'm from Australia and will be having them removed in Melbourne.
I've always felt that they were the wrong shape for my original breasts and never really been happy with the shape. With aging my own breasts have sagged over the top of the implants and look ridiculous.
The implants are under the muscle and still really high, apparently they were most likely inserted to high to begin with.
I'd say I was a B cup to begin with. After surgery a D cup. And now 8 years later an E. So I'm hoping after the explant I'll have enough of my own breast tissue to not have 2 boobs that look like socks with tennis balls at the bottom! I've been really surprised at how good the explant boobies look that's helped me to decide to go ahead with it. If they are way too droopy in 6 months I'll consider having a lift but without implants. I'm more worried about where the nipple will be sitting after there out. But they seem to fluff/puff back to life not to long after the implants are removed which happily shocked me!
They are so heavy I'm constantly uncomfortable and have trouble sleeping.
I've had neck back and shoulder pain for as long as I can remember and it's getting worse every month it seams.
Since I've been researching explants I've read that woman can have side effects like brain fog and memory loss. I have been getting both for about 3 or 4 years and could never put my finger on why. I can't be sure if this is true for me at the moment but I'll let you all know if things change after the explant.
I'm having them explanted with Dr.Fraizel in Camperwell Melbourne. It's only $2000 Aud because I'm only having local anesthetic trying to keep the cost down. I'm not sure about drains or a total capsulectomy atm. I've read its a good to leave the scar tissue in for more volume and I've read get everything out so unsure at this point on the whole subject. If your reading this let me know if you have any answers please.
I don't know if I have any leakages atm. If I don't I'll be really lucky. I am going to post pictures of the implants out so stay tuned. I can't wait to be free of these toxic bags. They should be banned. I saw a video of a lady who had an explant on you tube. She only had them in for a few years and they were all slimy from the silicone gross. Another ladys had leaked which I had been told that silicone didnt leak anymore. The doctor had to grab a piece of the silicone and wind it into a handle of an instrument until it all eventually came out in a long strip. Get googling and educating yourself there are Facebook pages too.
I'll put up pictures of my original boobies just got to find em.

Provider Review
Dr Fazil Anwar
I would not recommend Dr. Fazil for removal of implants. He was going to leave the capsule in but I now know that this is wrong. I have indentations from him taking out my fatty breast tissue along with the capsule. He did not take them out en-block. He may be good for implantation but not for explant
