Day 3 post op...

Feeling pretty good today, still just on Tylenol and pain is fine...

Sleeping is hard as partial sitting up and on back is not comfy, but is ok.. woke up about 4 am and felt like my boobs wanted to explode, they felt so tight and swollen I thought for sure I was going to need to call the doctor today, but when I got up this morning was fine...

Am very swollen, especially under my arms so am pretty deformed at the moment, but overall doing good..

Getting tired of sitting of laying around, trying to walk around my yard a lot, but get tired pretty easy...

All in all recovery is much easier than expected.

Day 2 post op

Day 2... sleep was ok last night... pain meds start wearing off after 3 hours and I wake up.. this morning switched to Tylenol to see how I would do... dealing with constipation so was hoping to help that too...

Finally no longer constipated and Tylenol is enough at the moment. Pretty swollen and very deformed looking due to swelling, but that seems to be normal. Took a shower today and just hoping for the swelling to start subsiding..

Next appt at doctor is next week, but so far I think all is well..

Asked about whether I could ice this morning and was told absolutely not.. guess all doctors have own theories in what helps and what doesn't.

Adding photos today.

This is before surgery. And one day post op.

First day post op...

Had surgery last night... Arrived at 1:45, left about 8pm...

Everything went really well, the staff and doctor are wonderful and overall experience was very easy... Had an excellent anesthesiologist as I don't remember anything other than relaxing before they were going to take me in for surgery, and then waking up smiling and couldn't believe it was over and I wasn't even shaking or anything (which is what I always experience after anesthesia).

Was fairly painful, but not unbearable... Had 30 minute drive home and felt every bump in the road, but made it... Was pretty exhausted and in pain, so went right to bed... Hard to get comfortable, sleeping on back and in pain and trying to keep moving my legs... Was a pretty rough night, but by about 5am I started feeling a little better and clearer headed...

Got up about 8 and was able to get some coffee (which I really missed yesterday) and had post op at 9:30 am... Bandages off, and into sports bra... Did not get great look at them as was a little dizzy, but fro what I can tell they look great..

Ended up with 325 mentor implants as doc said I had plenty of my own breast tissue.. Very swollen today and sore, but able to around without issue...

Overall feeling a lot better than I expected today...
