I haven't been on for a while because of work and busy family schedule. I'm having issues because even though my PS said I could start doing physical activities but to "listen to my body" I still feel like its hard. I have a lot if discomfort still, I'm gaining weight everywhere else. I'm watching what I eat and I walk at least 3 miles a day. 3 in the morning And if I have the energy after work another 2-3 miles. But I can't do anything else. And my boobs look huge even though I had no work done on those. I am just feeling discouraged and feel I wasted my money. I have no regrets - I just wanna be more active. Anyone else feeling like this? Also it still hurts to laugh and sneeze!

I found out through a couple of friends. Out of the 3-4 MD's in town he is the only one I've never once heard a complaint or dissatisfaction. I'd recommend this PS to anyone. I hope to have a breast lift and through same MD. I'n addition all his office staff was amazing also. :-)

Its been awhile since I've been on. I was pretty happy with results but all of a sudden I noticed one side of my hip sticks out more than the other so I look uneven. I still like fact I have a flat abdomen! One issue I'm having is I still have to hold my abdomen when I sneeze. Hurts like hell to sneeze and laugh....is anyone else experiencing this this this far post op?

Hi Ndestructible. Glad to hear you're doing well. Im at about 10 weeks PO and don't have pain sneezing or coughing anymore, but my muscle repair was minor. One thing that did happen last night though, was when I twisted in bed I felt and heard a 'pop'!!! In abs on left side. Really faint throbbing, but not painful. Like you, I too have some unevenness showing itself. Namely my waist....but I'm thinking I might have one leg ever so longer than the other. Maybe that's causing it. Anyhoo...thanks for updating! :)

I went to my PS yesterday and he said everything looks fine and to give it about 2 weeks until the pain stops. Its really hard for me in the mornings because I want to do a big long stretch but I can't. :*( I'm glad you're healing well but that "pop" would probably scare me. Have you been feeling ok otherwise since?

Been great otherwise. Abs are a little sore now, because I started Jillian Michael's Killer Abs workouts. But that's a good thing! :D I just hope nothing I've done in working out messed with anything inside. No swelling, pain, or redness, but when I sit at an angle I feel a faint throbbing where the pop happened. Left a message for my patient coordinator yesterday to call me. I'm not too worried. Probably a dissolvable suture.. (I'm thinking positive!)

Is it normal to look down on your tummy and see uneven lumps? I have one it doesn't hurt but because I noticed it I'm self conscious and hope it will even out.

I can login to RS from my iPhone and upload pics right there. I guess it just depends on what kind of a phone you have. As far as the lumps go, I have heard others complain of that and that they flattened out with time. Hard to tell without seeing some pics, but I think it takes three months before seeing what the final results are going to be. The center of my tummy around my BB is numb too. I also have some numbness along my incision, but that's coming back. I feel like A blob too, so hard not doing anything since I go, go, go all day normally. I've started doing some light cooking and housework and walking outside. Such a huge boost. My body just needs some sunshine! Did you finally get your shower? My first shower felt amazing!!
April 20, 2013
Mommy2two yes I finally got my shower. I felt normal again lol. I'm getting out and doing a little bit but I do get a little swollen too. It just feels good to start doing things again. I'm looking forward to be able to sleep on my side. I'm not a back sleeper. Thank you so much for responding to my post. :-)

Me too! Back sleeping is tough. The back of my scalp went numb the first few days. Just not used to be laid on I guess. Are you wearing a binder or a garment?
April 20, 2013
Yes I'm still wearing my garment. I have to wear it at least 4 weeks. It's getting uncomfortable too. Its starting to irritate the upper part of my stomach because its numb. My lower incisions are healing fine and haven't been bothering me yet.

I think I'd be a bloated whale if not for my CG. It's a pain, but I'm glad I'm wearing it. Making everything nice and flat! My PS had my order one called diet trim full body garment from sears. It's not too uncomfortable Maas a built in bra. What kind are,you in?
April 20, 2013
I'm still wearing the one from the surgery center. Well today I'm trying a "sweet nothings" firm comfort garment. Its really comfy but I'm not sure its enough support because I can feel that I'm pretty swollen.
