Just had 2 spots done today with the Resurfx laser (non IPL setting).
- next time I'll let the numbing cream sit longer than 10 minutes!
- felt like a bunch of needles entering your skin at once
- skin gets hot from the inside
- MUST avoid sun and reapply sunscreen every hour
- not a good feeling but tolerable
- procedure took less than a few minutes
will post updates as it progresses

It actually looks more pronounced.
Does the area get darker and then heal to a normal skin tone ?

Greetings! Next time ask the physician to use the IPL on those sun spots first, then the ResurFX (same visit). The ResurFX looks for WATER in the skin, not pigment. It does help with some pigment issues, but the IPL combo is likely a better solution.
Also make sure the spots are examined and are truly sun spots.
Good luck!

Shelly, it is common for a pigmented lesion to turn dark after treatment. In fact a desired endpoint. With IPL/ResurFX treatments pigmented lesions will turn black, get flakey, (often called "coffee grounds") then flake off. Net result the lesion should be dramatically diminished.

Good to know. I am researching all the options out there in anti aging. Too many almost. So far Bellafill is my goal to product but I need to address the quality of my skin.
