With a little bit of makeup

$7
Here’s what the microbladed eyebrows look like on day 14 with just a tiny bit of eyebrow pencil to lengthen the ends and a tiny bit to correct the shape between my eyes.

Awful. Not as experienced as they seemed.

They look great :) don't forget you are not used to seeing them darker - I think you look fab
they always look darker but will soften and lighten. It is a 2 appointment process, please be patient. I am a certified Phibrows Microblading Artist in West Palm Beach on Instagram under Artistriesofphi. I can help with any questions or concerns you may have. Good luck and keep us posted!

Getting a lot better

Here’s exactly 14 days after the microblading. I touged it out and started to see peeling around day 5. By day 7 they were at their final color and now they aren’t as dark or scary. They lost a lot of their pointedness towards the end of the brow, but with a little pencil I can fill them in a tad and they look totally fine. Advice for anyone with new scary brows: wait it out. Getting them wet didn’t effect mine at all, if anything it made them lighten up more throughout he healing process.

I’m on day 3 of my microblading nightmare. Like a lot of people here, I found an artist with good reviews, and even saw a patient of hers with similar blonde hair to mine with great brows. After it was done she assured me that it would lighten by 50%, but I keep looking at other people’s after photos and they look nothing like my very dark, high arched, scary brows. I don’t like anything about them and wish I had never gone through with it. I’ve been nonstop crying and can’t stop thinking about anything else. Now I’m in fix it mode and keep reading conflicting advice: do I wait for them to heal and try baking soda/peroxide, or do I try get whatever pigment out now before the ink has time to set in?

Hi, I was in the same situation 2 weeks ago.
After I saw my eyebrows, I was shocked and my heart sank.
I looked like I had pointy, scary clown eyebrows. They were so dark, and I'm very pale. They were horrible.
I went through all the same emotions as you and tried to look up how to reverse it, however in the end after reading people making it worse by trying, I decided to wait it out.
I'm at Day 13 now and they are sooo much better. The colour has faded dramatically and my eyebrows look quite natural now. I'm happy with the results...which actually surprises me, because of how bad they initially looked.
I'd say the colour started to look better around day 8 or so.
Anyway, my suggestion is to hold off and see how the next couple of days go :)
This is reassuring as I’m on day 3 and so disappointed. My eyebrows look like I drew them on with a sharpie.
Thank you so much for the reassurance! I’m not on day 5 and things are still a little too dark. They haven’t started peeling yet which I’m looking forward to. I did get them wet the first few days when I thought washing them would lighten them up a bit, so now I’m worried that by doing that they won’t flake away as they should. Did you follow the aftercare instructions exactly? Any other advice is welcome.
Everybody is different , the skin heals and peel off also different as well . Usually take up to 10days to be peel off , just be patience :) don’t worry
That’s so funny I am on my 3rd day and that’s exactly how I feel, I feel like a clown and with sharpie eyebrows. The first night I couldn’t sleep at all, I after reading all the others experience and comments I feel so much better. Thank you.
Your eyebrows looked amazing before
Thanks, but it was all makeup. The whole point of wanting to get them done was to not have to spend time doing them everyday.
Girlll, it was 7 bucks only?! That should've been a sign
That’s a typo. They were $200
Yes I did follow after care instructions, however I was told to wipe them gently with a damp cotton pad and then apply paw paw ointment 3 times a day for 7 days.
When I was wiping my eyebrows, I went over them quite a few times, in hopes of trying to wash out the colour...I don't think it made any difference though. So you should be fine with having wet them as I did it daily.
they will lighten up a bit. I was in the same boat couple months ago and figured they would look better after they were done healing, but I was wrong!! now I am in the process of getting them lasered off :(
