really beautiful skin..
Thank you! It's a work in progress. The Retin A at night and the Vitamin C serum in the morning is definitely making a difference. : ))
Which vitamin C serum do you use?
I use Shunly CE + Ferulic treatment. It can be purchased online at Costco.
Your skin looks great!
Thank you! I have some issues that are hard to see in pictures but I think my skin is looking better than it did a couple of years ago.
Wow, you have a noticeable difference, you look great.
I also use retin A and never thought of adding vitamin C to my routine. Is this step important? I was just curious what the benefits would be before adding yet another skin care product to my routine. Thanks
The vitamin C and E serum brightens my skin and makes it look more polished to me. I feel like it's equally as important as the Retin A. I use it in the a.m. before putting on my sunscreen.
thanks for the tip :) I'll definitely give it a try.
What's the product you use? I use a C serum but it's a bit oily so it's not that good under makeup..
I use Shunly CE + Ferulic Acid. It's slightly tacky when it goes on. I wait until it's completely dry before putting on my sunscreen.
What concentration do you use of the tretinoin? Cream or gel?
I use .05% cream. The gel is too drying for my skin
I have both. How long did it take you to see resents? Did you peel?
It's been a year since I started taking care of my skin. I started with a retinol but switched to the Retin A to get better results. Yes, I peeled quite a bit and my skin had a period of time when it looked bad - very flaky and crinkly

I'm someone who loves being active outdoors. I live in a sunny climate and over the years have accrued sun damage and melasma as a result. I'm also post menopausal and am in my 50's. Introducing Retin A and vitamin C into my skincare routine has helped greatly with my issues. I still have some melasma but it's gotten much better. In the second picture I have zero makeup on

Thanks!
Your skin looks great!!!
Thank you!!
Best ccbabe, Look really good! I am from Amsterdam here the retinol a is only available through a docter prescription! Can you please tell me where you by the retinol a and which brand! Thanks a lot
Retin A is only available here with a prescription also. My doctor gave me one because I still have break outs even at my age. I use tretinoin cream, .05%
I buy mine from Beauty's ish.com and the brand is called "The Ordinary" and I get 30ml for $7 I think... They have different strengths too. The site is very informative and helps you decide what to buy. They also sell a product called The Buffet and I love it. It's a combination of several things all for wrinkles, better elasticity and acne. Hope this helps some of you. After I tried it my 74 year old mom has been using it as well as my 14 year old daughter (the retinol that is) so it helps all age ranges. We also buy their moisturizer and it is the same price. About $7. No need to spend a fortune on retinol or any other skin care products for that matter. The site also carries name brand makeup as well. It cosmetics is one of my favs but it's a bit pricey.
Looks great! What's your routine, how often do you use the RA?
I have bought it online as here in the US ya need a prescription too.
Thank you! I use Shunly CE +Ferulic Acid in the morning, followed by sunscreen. In the evening I use .05% Retin A cream. Sometimes after the Retin A, I'll put on a moisturizer. My favorite is Dermacare Enriched Night Cream.
I use the Retin A and the Vitamin C serum pretty much every day.
Beautiful skin. You look Italian.
Thanks!! Yes, I'm Italian : )
