My surgery is in 10 days had my pre- op and got all lab work done. I am very nervous specially since I don' t like the go under part. I ca't wait to be able to dress and not worry about my breadts being all over or my saggie belly coming out of my pants. I got my meds for after the surgery inluding pain medication, arnica, and antibiotics. Dr, won't give me a pain pump it will be only the pain medication. I stopped taking all herbal meds and teas, taking only vitamins and calcium, working hard on my cardio to loose more weight and doing back exercises to have a strong back. I headr that will help afterwards. Goat a walker and awedge pillow. I won' t be telling people about my surgery except for my kids and husband who will be taking care of me. As the days go by I will be posting my thoughts and concerns. Needs your prayers please. Any tips will be appreciated.

My surgery is around the corner. I am taking my fiber from today on and will eat lots of veggies and try to clean myself as much as I can. Will go grocery shopping and do my food prep on Monday. Yesterday was my last day of work an requested 4 weeks off just in case. Feeling nervous and anxie, but now I am starting to think more about the recovery than the actual surgery. Is that how it goes . Would like yuor input. Any advice will be really appreciated.
Congratulation on taking this step for yourself. It's perfectly natural to be nervous, but it sounds like you are well-prepared and I'm happy to hear you'll have support at home. Please keep us updated, we'll be thinking of you!
