Back in 2012 I had my brows tattooed. This lady claimed she can do 'hair like stroke' tattoo. First of all never do anything like this off a Groupon. NEVER. It end up healing like a bunch of dots and random lines. Not only that but it healed literally like a black/blue tattoo.
After this I tried to wait it out thinking it would fade. It did not. Then in 2014 I had my first microblade session. The girl was a god send to me she gave me something I didn't have. Brows! I love the girl and recommend her for sure but my brows once healed weren't what I wanted. It's because I had the horrible botched work done before and covering it up wasn't easy. So that faded and I decided to fly to her state when retouch time came up a year later. This time when it faded it end up fading a reddish/orange tint. Not entirely sure why. After this I have decided to never microblade or do anything like that to my brows. I have started to really treat my brows with hair growth serums. My brows have been over plucked since the 90's because of the fad. So since about 5th grade I have looked like a damn goon. Anyway, since I started to do a lot of the hair growth serums consistently I have seen a huge change in my brows. Also the red orange microblade pigments have faded along with the blue ratio pigments!! I am beyond extatic. I will post my pics so people can see.
Do I recommend microblading? Hmm not really because the only thing it helped with was help fade the blue tattoo under the skin. Do I recommend it for cover up old tattoos? No. I found my microblade gal off IG and I think she's very good. I have nothing against her. She does a wonderful job but it's just not for my bad brows. I've learned that what works for me is serums and patience.

UPDATED FROM safariyo
2019 update on brow regrowth with revitabrow and careprost

Hi everyone so here is a update of to year difference. I have been thinking about getting my brows microbladed because i found somebody who might be able to help but i am reconsidering it because of the pink pigmentation that i was left with in the past.
Here is my two year of constant oil, serum, cream help for regrowth. There is a lot of new hair that has grown in. I still have a problem area in the front which is why i have thought about seeing a consult for a micro blade but i would do it here locally with somebody who has been consistent in her work.
Not 100% sure if i will go through with it as I’m afraid the regrowing i have been trying to do will be affected by the microblading and will pull my hair out.
