I wanted to get a co2 laser done and after looking at a lot of doctors i found Dr. Emer. I must say that he is very timely in responding back to patients and my experience with his laser has been good. I have definitely seen improvement with little to no hyper pigmentation (i am about 4 months out from the procedure). I did have some redness but that subsided. But of course the scars are not gone as the technology is not there but there is a very visible difference in the depth. Great doctor. Also wanted to note that i got the co2 laser done a week after i finihsed accutane and i had no complications. So those of you on accutane shouldn't be afraid of doing procedures as that myth that you need to wait 6 months is not true. I also have the Asian skin type which is prone to problems yet i had none under the care of Dr. Emer.

Dr. Emer is a great doctor who takes great care with his patients. He gives you realistic expectations and is a great guy. He also responds back to all your questions via email in very timely manner so overall it has been a pleasure having Dr. Emer as my doctor. Getting any form of plastic surgery is a big risk and you should only go see real professionals who know theit stuff. Dr. Emer would be one of those doctors. i would also like to mention that he isn't afraid to take appropriate risks. I was on accutane when i did micro needling and i was about two weeks off accutane when i got my co2 laser. I have an asian skin type yet i did not have any complications. The myth that you need to wait 12 months after accutane to do a procedure is bs. So know that you are in good hands with Dr. Emer.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, I am glad that you have seen some improvement in your scars. Would you consider adding before and after photos to your review so we can see your results?  What type of acne scars did you have?
