Wow... has it really almost been 1 year? Things are going great. Life is 100% better. I finally feel like a normal person. I can operate day-to-day life without feeling the extra weight and looming cloud of dysphoria that my old breasts caused me.
As for the scars, they look about the same as my last update. They're still a little red but I don't even care at this point. Even if my scars were even worse, I still wouldn't care because the reward of looking and feeling normal in my clothes makes this surgery 100% worth it.

If you want this surgery and you have the resources- DO IT! Don't let the fear stop you if you hate your breasts!
WOW!!! You're looking amazing so far and I can't wait to see you updated progress! :))
Hey Gurllllll! Isn't it amazing how time flies! I'm coming up on TWO YEARS since my surgery...hard to believe! And I totally agree, I'd do it over in a heartbeat. My only regret is that I waited so long. I feel FREE now. Thanks for updating! :-)

Scar update

Doctor said they’re a little hypertrophic and to just keep wearing my silicone. I need to get better at it!
But overall, my scars aren’t too bad.
I’m still very very happy. I’ve almost completely forgotten about my old boobs.

I think your scars look great! I have been wearing a sports bra to bed since surgery. I have decided to sleep braless for a few nights, and have decided not to do that again. My scars started raising and becoming very painful! It might also have something to do with them growing! But I noticed a huge difference after sleeping in the bra again.
Looks good! What kind of silicone strips are you using?
Your results are beautiful! Who was your provider?
Your scars are amazing!! Maybe I just hardly ever get to see people update at 5 mos but I feel like yours are scar goals. This is what I’m most terrified of - the scars. This gives me hope. What was your secret?! How do they look now? Almost a year later... Thank you for sharing your journey.

4 months!

Things are going good. My boobs get softer and softer as the weeks go by. I’m a little concerned about the scarring. I seem to be keloiding where I don’t wear the silicone strips. I’m not 100% sure if it’s keloiding but it’s a little raised and hurts if I press hard. I have been trying to put the silicone gel on the scars that don’t have silicone sheets. I’m not sure how well it works. When I run out of silicone gel i’ll Probably buy silicone sheets and try to make that work even though it’s hard to get them to stick on he horizontal scars. The scars under the silicone are doing much better. They are flat but still red (which is normal).

Mine are red too! They were fine until about 2/12 months then I noticed redness -eek- I’m hoping it is just healing and will resolve in time. Some spots of the scars are flat and thin, but the majority is pretty red and mad!
Glad to know I'm not alone! I just spoke to someone in my life that had a breast lift and they said that their scars were angry for a while too, and not to worry.
Make a mix of macadamia nut oil (or coconut oil) with some vitamin e oil and some drops of lemon oil. It works wonders on red scars. You look great Gurllllllll!!!!!
Aii! Congratulations on your boobs! Don’t worry about the redness, if you look at my 4 month scars they look red and irritated and did hurt when being poked but I assure you it’s just your scars healing, mine are pretty faded now! Just give it time and as Tezzz suggested take some oil (coconut olive oil) and massage the scars in a circular motion it will help to break the scar tissue up faster. Good luck !
Liquid Vitamin E helps reduce scaring.
