Sx with Dr Alder Henao\ Complications - Cali, CO

2 months post up

I had sx on Sept 14 with Dr Alder Henao, tt,bbl,lipo,lips and bl with implants. I would love to share my journey so here I go! I was in Cali 4 14 day's after my sx. A week after my sx I started to notice a dark color on my incision's. I have been a smoker 4 over 15 years. Henao told me that all the nicotine I had left in my body was not letting me heal correctly. He then sent me to take a few sections of hiperbaratic chambers, to help me with the oxygen in my blood so I can heal better. I took a total of 8 chambers. His nurse Andrea would come to the RH and always treat my insicions. A few days b4 I had 2 fly back home my Dr asked me to stay a week more so he could of keep with my treatment, I really didn't want 2 stay plus changing my flight and paying a week more at the RH (beautisleep) was going to b a bit expensive. I decided 2 fly back home at treat my wounds in PR. When I arrived PR I went to different Doctors between Plastic surgeon's, Doctors that specializes in Skin care and wound's a tottal of 7 different doctors and all of them had the same opinion my complications were do to my nicotine problems and I also had Throid problems. I had test's done to make sure there was no bacteria, all the tests came back negative. I contracted a nurse that specializes in skin care and she stared treating my wounds 3 times a week. During all this time Henao would write to me almost every day to c how I was coming along. The medications the nurse would use little by little caused my wounds to open up, ripping one of my breast tottaly up. I contacted Henao and he immediately wanted me to fly back to Cali, I really wasn't sure I wanted to have sx again cause I was afraid it would happen to me again so I told Henao I wasent going back. Henao contacted a surgeon here in PR to help me out, he really wanted me to close my breast up again. I didn't go with the surgeon in PR and I decided to fly back to Cali. All this experience was really depressing, this isn't what u expect when u decide to have sx. I flew back on Oct 17, Henao paid 4 everything. He re did my breasts again and a little part of my tt that was also having problems. I stood in Cali 4 13 days after this sx, 10 took 10 hiperbaratic chambers and a nurse came to clean my insicions every day thanks to Henao, he made sure this wasn't going to happen to me again. I am 15 days post up again and I am feeling wonderful!!! I couldn't have chosen a better surgeon, he never left me alone in this journey, till this day he texts me every other day to c how I'm healing. Ladies this would of happen to me with any Doctor.
