Three months post...

Hey RS, I'm officially three months as of yesterday. I have new regrets at all. The only mini regret is not toning up prior to sx. I stayed in my faja for about two and a months. Im still getting massages(every othe wk) at Massage Envy. My tip is to ask if any masseuses are licensed in Manual Lymphatic Drainage. During the three months in a faja, I wore loose clothing(leggings and flowy tops), stayed active through walking, cut out any junk food. I'm more strict about my food choices(salads, fruits, water). If I eat out, I eat seafood, grilled chicken breast, wraps, smoothies, and sautéed veggies. I'll be posting photos this weekend as I'm traveling to Canada for Memorial Day weekend. Sx has increased my confidence, allows me to wear fitted dresses and skirts, and put myself out there in social settings. I'm extremely happy with my decision. I decided if I do get work done again, I'll only get a BA.

Mini update(4 wks post)
Hello RS, I will be updating my review every few weeks. I have mild swelling in my abdomen and lower back. Swelling should be completely gone after three months. I've been religiously wearing my faja and will be wearing it until late May. I will most likely stay in a stage 1 faja most of June. I'm committed to wearing my faja for four months. I've also been getting massages at Massage envy, which has been so affordable. I'm currently doing lymph massages and after my package of 12, I will be looking into deep tissue massages. I haven't had any complications since sx and very happy with my results. Franco gave me a curvy physique with hips and a medium sized butt.

Massage envy can provide the type of massage that you needed? Did you tell them of your procedure?

I asked if any masseuses were specialized in MLD(Manual Lymphatic Drainage). I did mention I had lipo before selecting my masseuse. I found one close to my residence. I would suggest calling all the Massage Envys in your area and finding out.

A few days post op...
Hey RS, I'm extremely swollen and have been getting massages. I've been taking my prescribed meds and eating foods that have meat and lots of nutrients. I drink water, gatorade, and mango juice. I stopped by the faja store and got a faja to sleep in and a stage 2 with hooks. I'm looking to purchase an ab board asap. But overall recovery hasn't been so bad.

Hope you are feeling well! I fly to Cali next week for lipo and rhino at D'Corpus. My husband is from Cali and I have lots of friends who get surgery at D'Corpus, but this time I have to go alone. My spanish isn't too good so I hope the translation is better in person than it has been through email with DCorpus. Any tips for lipo recovery? I'm so excited and nervous at the same time :)

I would say make sure you are taking your pain meds, walk a lot, wear your compression socks, wear your faja, get massages, and make sure you're eating. I'm still recovering, but try your best to do the above. I used google translate as well

Thanks for the tips! I fly down Thursday the 2nd, then I should be having surgery on Monday 6th. Already had bloodwork done at home to make sure everything looks good, so I should be cleared for surgery no problem. And double check on all my supplies. I'm so ready! I posted pics of me at 4 wks post. I'm satisfied with my body. For breast, I would recommend Florez and Sacristan. I think Franco mainly shows work for lipo and bbl.
