I'm traveling to cali, Colombia because I want to get this last bit of stubborn fat off my abdominals. I also have some on my back and arms. I know I can exercise to tighten it all up but I don't want to lose my butt. Hopefully I can do a full body lipo and get a juicy booty! I'm looking forward to it and all though I'm a lil scared, I'm just praying that I come out with fantastic results and most of all I want to be healthy!

So it looks like you did a bit of haggling with the price? I really want to go to Colombia but sooo nervous to go by myself! I was thinking late november/early december too

You call it haggling, I call it negotiating! My body isn't in bad shape and if it were I would understand why he would charge me that much. But let's be real here.. going to Colombia is supposed to be a more economical alternative (beside the work being better than in the states, my personal opinion.) I've just never been the type to let anyone take advantage of me.. whether he was or was not, as you can see from our convo he drastically reduced the price. Maybe because he didn't want to lose a potential client, maybe not. Whatever the case I'm glad I followed my gut instinct. Not saying he's a bad surgeon cause I

Hi@sosajessica did you end up going to Columbia? His work looks amazing. I'm currently looking for a surgeon also in Columbia. Just wondering what was your experience with Dr frank.

Hmm...yeah I saw his work on IG just had not seen anything about a recovery house for him. I've been checking out Dr. Gabriel Lobo from Cucuta, CO and his work looks amazing, I just didn't like that he proposed a TT when I know I do not need one. Ughhh so frustrating when each surgeon tells you something different. I'm going to one more consult in Chicago and will make up my mind

Obtaining quotes

User Avatar

So I paid a $200 fee to my recovery center and they are setting everything up for me as far as reaching out to doctors to get a quote for me. I contacted Dr. Frank LaMadrid for a quote through WhatsApp and he said $7,000.. I told him that was absurd as I may as well get my operation in the states for all that. I asked why and he stated that it included an over night stay an 1 post op massage. I believe staying over aight should just be included in the package all together but ???? ok cool.. so how much just for my operation? He quoted $5,500! ???? so you telling me you charge a cool $1,500 for one over night stay.. ???? I calmly explained to him that he deserved just that and much more but my friends have come back from Colombia looking like total barbies for like $3,500.. finally he agreed to lower it to $4,000 after I told him it would be a friend of mine and I going. I still declined.. I felt that since I was coming from the states he was trying to hustle me. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Now come to find out, I tried looking him up to verify he's board certified and alas, nothing comes up ???? I am grateful as I feel I've dodged a bullet. For that reason I'm happy to leave it to my recovery centers hands to get me a good quote with a reputable doctor ???????

I am doing research, currently I have been making an effort to get as healthy as possible so I can obtain the best results. I also follow a lot of forums on instagram and go on this website as well as the cssp home page to verify legitimacy. Youtube has a good documentary as well, detailing how things go down.

I literally love this results aghhhh

I don't think you understand what he does, he is amazing gives you abs and all and for something like that done in the states it will be over $10,000. I'm going next year.

Beginning to take a lot more things into perspective

I have received my quotes from a few doctors in cali. Villalobos is charging $2900, Ortega is charging $3700 and plazas $4800.. all great prices keeping in mind that you get what you pay for. While I was waiting on these quotes I did note that sometimes I would get no response or be reached out to after a few days, that was something that concerned me. Imagine I was a patient who had a medical emergency ????.. who would reach out to make sure I'm ok? These are questions that I had never really gave mind to but I think it may be best to go forward with my procedure in the states. The more research I do, the more I realize that it's harder for doctors to monitor your progress when you are far away, and since you are far, who will enforce your health as top priority? A botched job would be a nightmare to revise (and costly without the results you could have initially obtained) and although I initially wanted to save as much money as possible, I feel like there are plenty of capable doctors in the states that can do just a good job.
