For years I have struggled with my weight and now...
For years I have struggled with my weight and now I'm approved for surgery by my insurance in ST.Maarten and had to travel to Colombia to be examine to see if I will be a possible surgery. On the 17th of January I arrived in Cali Colombia,nervous but happy I finally met with the doctor that will be doing my possible surgery Doctor Evelyn Dorado on the 18th Jan 2016. she was very nice told me that she do not think I should do a bypass I am more a sleeve candidate because I'm not a big sweet lover. I think I will consider it. I was placed on a three week long pre op diet also I'm about to do this.
Testing and some results (they're in Spanish sorry)
For the past week all I have been doing between the hours of 5 am and 4pm is back and fort form the hospital. I did echo of my heart liver and lungs, ultra sound of the veins in my legs for trombosis, labs, EKG, Endoscopy and met with the nutritionist, so far from what I understood from the doctor they all are perfect I passed!!!!! :):):) very happy for the news and so glad the testing is over for now well I hope it is
I'm down ten pounds and eating right????:) :)
So far so good since my last doctor visit I have been walking morning and night thanks to this really cool guy I met at the same hotel who is obviously on my team. every day when he's not busy in the evenings he would come over and join me on a 90 minute walk around the country to where ever he feels like walking to since he knows the place better that me. Sadly he will be leaving soon. I'm really going to miss his encouragement. But I will succeed!
