The swelling have gone down, but the space remains! I am looking forward to seeing how they will look in 2-3 months time once they drop and settle a bit. For the time being I’m happy enough, although a bit disappointed with the large space in-between my breasts. I think in retrospect I should have gone a little bit bigger so that they diameter of the implants would have been increased a bit, especially because I only had the option of going with high profile implants. Oh well, I didn’t expect perfect! And I’m grateful for the symmetry. The surgeon assured me beforehand that there would not be too much of a space and that the breasts would ‘fill out’ beyond the borders of the implants, so we’ll see how they turn out with time.

Lots of swelling and bruising, large space between implants
goingfornaturalMay 26, 2016
These photos are 2 days post of. Lots of bruising. My main concern is that the implants are very widely-set! I did not anticipate having such a large space in-between my breasts. Going for a follow-up appointment this morning with a nurse. I understand (and hope!) that they will look different once the swelling subsides.

I wonder if it is possible to bind the breasts together with bandages to encourage them to settle closer together. Does anyone have experience with this?

Give your muscles a few days to relax and you will be surprised to see how your boobs will change.

Thank you, Sarah. I hope my muscles still have some relaxing to do, one week post-op.

I decided to get myself the breasts that I love...

I decided to get myself the breasts that I love best -- modest size, perky and with a natural feel. I came to Colombia to have the procedure done with an award winning surgeon at a fraction of the cost. It came as a surprise to me at my pre-op appointment that the Mentor implants my doctor uses are only available in high and ultra high profile in Colombia -- a shock, but I decided to go ahead with the plan (after being assured that the difference between the high and the mod+ that I was planning to get is very minimal in the volume I wanted). I have 225c high profile in both breasts.
