Happy birthday to my boobies.

1 year post.
Still very happy. Even though my implants are on the larger side, I feel like they fit my frame. I was going for " wow! Those are nice , I wonder if they're real.. they look natural" and that's what I got.
My only complaint would be that for figure skating, the projection makes my jump rotation slower. I ended up finding a couple of dance bras that are nude in colour, and I wear two when I skate. This brings the projection in, and I'm back to landing double jumps without issue.
Under regular clothes I couldn't be happier with how they have settled in. If I could do it again, I totally would.
Now that I'm back on the ice 5x a week, my body fat has dropped, and without the implants I would have been back to skin with a nipple. I love how my skating dresses fit, and I love that I look and skate like a WOMAN. :)

1 year update

It has been a year since my surgery, and as my breasts have dropped and softened, I ended up being bigger than intended - which is probably the only regret I have.
(I initially brought in a 34D bra, and am now wearing a 34DDD). This has made it difficult for me in figure skating, and I've started having to wear a restrictive bra to flatten myself out - otherwise my rotation on double jumps is too slow.).

One of Canada's best Plastic Surgeons, hands down. I've known for years that Dr Whidden was going to be the doctor performing my breast augmentation. I have seen (and photographed) a lot of his work in boudoir shoots, and he has the best work out of all the breast augmentations I have seen. Once I was 100% sure that I was finished having children, I booked in for a BA consultation. My initial impression was friendly and professional. I was actually pretty nervous when I came in for my first meeting - I was afraid that the environment would be stuck up stuffy. Those fears immediately vanished one I walked through the front doors: the office staff, nurses - everyone- are nothing short of angels. Super friendly, patient, and kind. Trista worked her magic to have me moved into a cancellation spot so that I could have my surgery during a gap in my calendar. The surgery itself was smooth, I had been so nervous. Dr Whidden was patient and kind during the whole process. Not once did he ever make me feel as though a question was silly (even if some of my nervously rambled questions did seem a bit on the silly side). He literally gave me the *perfect* breasts that I have been hoping would grow since I hit puberty. Anytime I had a question post op, my phone calls were returned quickly, and kindly. I was even surprised to have Dr Whidden call me back after hours with an answer to one of my questions. ( On a Friday evening! Seriously - I thought the days of drs who cared after hours were gone). Hands down, this has been a fabulous experience so far. When the time comes to have a little work done on my face, I can tell you where I'll be going :)
