Great Experience So Far.

I am 4 days away from one month. I am in no pain at all. I can sleep on my side or my back. My breast have dropped so much. I was not required to do any massages or use a band. I also do not have to wear a bra if I don’t want too. My breast have softened up so much. I can push them together squeeze them. One breast is dropping into the pocket,and nipple area faster and filling out.

It has been one week since my BA. I am finished my antibiotics today. I am not taking my pain medication every day but at the odd times , I need to I am having one at morning and one at night. I am not in excruciating pain. Just mostly discomfort from having to sleep at a 45 degree angle. And the fact that my breast feel like two bowling balls. They are a tad bit softer but still very heavy. Especially from having no weight on your chest too 445cc high profile, gummy bears. I can feel little bubbles at the top of my breast like air or water. I was told this will subside after a few weeks. Also from all my internet reading this seems quiet normal. I was able to change out of my surgical bra into a sports bra. A D36 as of right now. The sports bra is so much more comfortable. I bought a pack of 3 from Walmart for 20.00 which is great because I don’t know what my final size will be. The top of my breasts have slightly dropped. They are not as square yet. My two week check will be next week Thursday. I will update again at that time. My incisions are still taped up but from what I can see they look great. Very small and skinny.

I choose Dr Whidden because he is known as the best plastic surgeon in Calgary. He had given me two sizes to choose from 415cc and 495cc. On surgery day Wednesday June 20th 1:00pm he recommended 445cc due to my petite frame. I am 5’2 110 pounds. Breast fed both my children for a year so my breast where destroyed. Very saggy. Dr. Whidden and Dr. Patel’s bedside manner was amazing. I was very scared as I have never under went surgery before, but every one at MacLeod Trail Plastic surgery made me feel very comfortable. My nurse was Karen and she was amazing. When I arrived with my fiancé on surgery day we where taken back to a quiet waiting room. They had me change into a gown and gave me a warm robe which was very comforting. Karen asked me a few questions then Dr Patel came in and answered all my questions. Dr whidden then came in did his markings and went over the final size and he definitely does know best. I walked into the Or and before I knew it I was waking up in the recovery room. I was shaking due to being cold Karen got me a warm blanket. I felt a lot of tightness but not any serious pain. I was very high on all the medications. They called my fiancé about 1 hour and 30 minutes after waking up to pick me up. Dr whidden had mentioned my surgery was a little difficult but I was to high to remember what he was saying. I was booked in for a post op appointment the next day which I think is just great that they see how you are doing the next day. Thursday 3:15 pm Dr. Whidden checked my breast said they where doing great. He told me that my pectoral muscles under neath where split in two or something of that sort something he does not really see but he was able to fix me right up. I went home the pain was bearable but I was getting severe migraines Friday night every time I took my antibiotics. My fiancé called the number and within 10 minutes Friday night about 7:30pm Dr. Whidden called me back after hours. Which just shows what a great surgeon he is. I am now 3 days post op not taking any pain medications because a headache is worse than the boob pain to me. The pain is not as bad as I thought. Just very tired and sore. They are very hard still and heavy but not as square as I normally see other patients. Will update again soon.
