Couldn't be happier with my new nose! I got it...
The process is one that takes patience. The days are long but I found the weeks went by fast. My swelling was up and down if I exercise or have a couple glasses of wine I notice my nose will swell, but overall my swelling was 90% gone by month 5. Its good to take lots of pictures because honestly your nose changes everyday. You will have good days and bad nose days, but the good nose days make up for the bad ones! I tape my nose every night (my surgeons instructions) and this helps so much!! If you surgeon approves that, do it! Sometimes too one side of my nose would be more swollen than another side which can be annoying and make it look like your nose isn't as straight as you want it but I promise that goes away, once my swelling came down my nose is straight like I wanted it :) A long journey but it's worth it, patience will be your best friend. Also I got post surgery blues about 3 days post op and they went away shortly after from reading other reviews I think it's common so don't freak out!

I can't praise Dr. Zakhary enough! She was very kind and caring from my very first appointment. I liked the fact that during my consultation she explained everything very thoroughly, both pros and cons, what are realistic expectations, and most importantly I didn't feel like I HAD to book my surgery. She really wants you to be confident with your choice. I did book that day (my friend has referred me to her) and after that everything was a breeze. After my surgery, dr Zakhary emailed me I believe 2 days after to check in on me, when I had a concern she called me about 5 minutes later from her home as it was 8pm, I felt very well taken care of and she never brushed anything off, took everything very serious to make sure I felt comfortable. Overall very very happy. Also very happy with her staff, they treat you like gold and I always leave with a smile. So thank you to the whole team!!
