I’ve had my tattoo for about 3 years now. It’s a coverup of some script I had done roughly 5 years ago when I was only just 15.
I hate it!!!! It’s just not me at all. I wear t shirts and avoid tank tops or anything that shows my tattoo because I’m embarrassed of it. I haven’t liked it from day 1.
After reading reviews on this website, I finally got the courage to head in for a consultation. I never believed it would actually be fully removed, or that is could be removed without leaving it botched. But reading people’s stories inspired me to get some info on this subject myself.
I went in for my consultation and got quoted $4000 CAD for 6 picosure sessions. I accepted the offer and paid in full that same day.
Flash forward 2 weeks, and I just finished my first session at the clinic. I was very nervous going in, as I’ve heard the pain is insane... let me tell you it was!!! The procedure only lasted about 7 minutes and I have a fairly large tattoo with lots of ink. Pain was solid 9/10. I was shaking and nearly crying. In fact I’m pretty sure tears were running down my face. Reminded me for having a painful sunburn and someone slapped a million elastic bands on top of my sunburn. INSANE. But a pro was it was only 7 minutes.
** I did use a numbing cream prior to the procedure, that I just picked up from shoppers for $15 CAD.
It’s been a few hours and the burning sensation has gone down, but is still sore. That’s expected though.
I’d loved to document my entire process with you all to prove that If you’re nervous like I was... you can do this too!! - - - I have 6 sessions with this picosure laser, and after the 6 sessions spread out over the next year they told me depending on my process I will either switch to q-switch lasers or remain on picosure. Time will tell. I’m thinking I will have to have at least 10-12 total sessions in order for it to be completely faded.
I’m happy to share my experience with you guys!!! Feel free to ask any questions about any of this :)
(Pics will be up later on tonight)

48 hours after 1st session

I’ve experienced soreness, stiff shoulder, raised skin, and worse of all these god awful bubble like blisters. The blisters aren’t painful but just looking at them freaks me out. Heard this is all normal. Been applying Polysporin every few hours as directed.
** I have noticed in 1 session the leafs and black spots have faded!!! So excited for more sessions to come and more results to show :)
