I've always been around 32B, but hardly filling it out, and I've wanted larger breasts for as long as I can remember. I honestly just didn't feel feminine. I breastfed my son until January (14 months), because of the benefits to him but also a little bit because my milk boobs were pretty fantastic lol I fluctuated between a 32 C/ 32 D. As expected, I have lost volume in the upper pole of my breast. Although I'm roughly the same size I was before getting pregnant, the girls just aren't as perky as they used to be.
After many hours of research, obsessing over before and after pictures, reading reviews on here, I booked my consultation. I couldn't be happier with the experience I had at the clinic, and despite my initial plan of meeting a few surgeons I knew within minutes I wanted to be in the care of Dr Jeffrey Dawes' team. I have no interest in having obviously fake looking, large, protruding breasts- I'd like to feel more comfortable and confident in my body and feel more proportionate. Dr Dawes uses Natrelle smooth silicone gel implants and preforms the surgery with the no touch technique, the incision will be in the bottom fold of my breast, sub-muscular. We selected a mid range profile implant, 265cc with the prediction that this will increase my size by 2-3 cups.
My son will be 18 months at the time of my surgery and I'd be lying if I didn't admit on here that I'm nervous about recovering with a toddler. We do not have family in our city and my husband works long hours, leaving me to take care 98% of the day to day, along with a full time job. My mom will be coming from the east coast for a few days to help (surgery is on Thursday and I'd like to be back in the office Monday or Tuesday) but I can't wrap my head around getting a 25 lbs toddler in and out of his crib, and the car seat in my SUV. Any moms with experience? I'd love to hear your stories and hopefully your tips.
I"M SO EXCITED FOR BOOBS!!!!

My toddler just turned 19 months yesterday and I have my surgery in a week. Going with 295 cc tear drop shape and under the muscle. My husband is taking the day of surgery off, kids are going to the babysitter the next day and then he has the weekend off to take care of the kids while I try to rest. I will be by myself with them on Monday. So I will try to let you know how it goes!

I'm having my surgery on Friday (week from today!). I have a 2 year old and I'm also worried about Caring for him post surgery as my husband is relatively hands off with our toddler because he's a mamas boy. I have the surgery on Friday and am going back to work on Tuesday. I've been teaching my toddler to get in and out of his car seat and climbed up into the SUV so I don't have to lift him after. We'll see how it goes.

Happy boob day!! Wishing you an easy first day and an easy recovery

Thank you! About 15 hours to go! ...And wouldn't you know, my 2 year old started being super clingy this week and started sneaking into my bed at night:/. Toddlers have perfect timing (sarcasm). Sigh
February 16, 2018
Are you feeling anxious about tomorrow/ recovery? I find my little man gets extra clingy when I'm in that mode.

It may sound silly if you don't do it, but try a guided meditation tonight? I can suggest a really nice, not hoaky app

I'm actually not nervous about the surgery or pain (I have a high tolerance for pain... I delivered 3 babies with 0 pain meds). BUT I am seriously hoping I don't get sick from the meds. That's what I'm praying I avoid.
February 13, 2018
That's what I'm nervous about too. No experience but I have an 8, 5, and 1 yr old to care for post surgery (although my youngest will be closer to 2

When are you scheduled?!
February 13, 2018
I'm not yet, I actually was scheduled for, Jan 2016 but I got pregnant so now that I'm done breastfeeding I'm going through the whole process again

hey! good luck on your journey! I also have two kids, a bit older than yours. honestly, I couldn't have taken care of them by myself for at least the first 5 days. try to get some help! after that it gets better.
February 20, 2018
Thanks so much :) It looks as though my husband may be traveling with my son in April... I will likely get them done while they're away... that means 6 days alone!

Recovery the first 5-6 days was rough for me. I did have to take care of the kids the day after surgery but mostly just instructed my 10 year on what to do and he helped me a lot. Then on the weekend my husband was home. I was alone again on Monday with my 4 yr old and the 18 month old and I managed. My 4 yr old would help me get him in the crib and out. Lol! But if your tot can stand and you keep your elbows close to your sides when you pick them up it helps! I still do it that way getting him in and out of the crib.
March 12, 2018
Thank you! I'm trying to practise him standing to get our of the crib, and I think I'm going to use a step stool outside my SUV to help with the carseat.

How are you feeling ?

Feeling much better and can pretty much do everything normal. Except lifting heavy stuff.

I’m with you. it’s a weird thing to do. But I hope it’ll be worth the weirdness to have a nice review for other gals with my same body type.
February 16, 2018
I agree! That's what encouraged me to start my review page :). I don't know about you, but any photos I've taken to send my husband I either half cover my chest with my hair or an arm some how lol

Rice Sizers

ababyamum
Just for fun I decided to make sizers. (While I should have been doing laundry). Some old pantyhose and 250ml of basmati rice later I was prancing about with big rice boobs. My son, who was breastfed until January, was VERY excited and kept trying to get into my shirt lol

My surgery is exactly one week and I’ve decided I am going to wear my 250 rice sizers everyday to get used to them. Yesterday I wondered if I’d miss my flat chest. I think I will but will be so happy once I go shopping for a bikini or a backless or strapless top/dress!!!

How's it going!? Are you getting nervous at all?
