Promised the moon and the stars, I received scars and a lighter pocket book. The lapband has restricted my portions; however, I have not lost any weight since having it done. I have contacted Smartshape about a revision and they said they don't do them and then did not call back for follow up calls.

The dr himself seemed friendly enough during the initial consult. However no call back for aftercare to discuss why no weight loss ( even with strict diet)

After no success with the lapband, I flew to Mexico and had a gastric bypass which included an ulcer repair as well as lapband removal. The surgeon and staff were amazing and I have lost all the weight I wanted.
