okay so i have big pores and very light scaring, but im obsessed with nice skin so I was thinking of getting several fraxel treatments, but my doc said this is basically the best and only way. I finally decided to bight the bullet and do it.
The actual treatment did not hurt, he gave me anesthetic and it relaxed me. However at one point her kinda nipped my lip and that was horrible pain I almost cried, but it was over instantly.
after i wasnt read just insane puffy. The next day i wasnt red either just so puffy......
now im on Day 3
im starting to get really red i see the new skin coming through, i have to admit it kinda stings a tiny bit. Another annoying thing is that dueto my eyelash extensions and extreme swollenness i believed ive aquired two eye infections... fml no matter what the lotion they gave me to put on my face gets into my eyes. first photo is a before, first day and third day pictures.

day 4

last night i could not sleep it was so horrible i even took 2 melatonin, then finallyyy a gravol and that knocked me out, the intense itching was horrid.
So today arrives, day four and im finally not so swollen it has decreased alot, it was horrible how swollen i was and how much cream would get into my eyes.
anyways in the am i realized i had tiny red pimples all over my forhead where the intense itch was coming from-- white heads and red bumps..... so i realize its a allergic reaction from the cream the doc gave me, i asked particularly if there was fragrence in it as im allergic... him and his assistant said no--- just because it says unsented doesn't mean fragrence free, its still sented, so that is why i was so itchy... any ways, now i dont know what to do with all these white heads, i tried using vaseline and i felt legit gross. Then i remembered i had this coconut cream from haut cosmetics its basically coconut oil and rosehip oil, i put that on and my skin soothed and stop itching. i think if i dont touch the white heads theyll go away once i really start washing my face with cleanser, i used the marcelle gel foam cleanser ( theres no foam no idea why it says that seems like washing your face with glycerin) and it felt nice to get some gunk off...
anyways ill be using that coconut moisturizer i have from now on, till my face is finished peeling and not so red... DO NOT USE MOISTURIZER with fragrance even if youre not allergic or if you didnt just have c02-- so bad for your skin.

Poor you! I am going to the same thing and it is indeed horrible. Being swollen and having itchy sticky ointment all over is not what I was expecting. I thought this would be way less of a treatment. Hopefully it'll all turn out well and we will both look beautiful ! Good luck to you!

I also had a dermabrasiwon which is the pretty much same thing only that is done manually
Now im thinking if i should go with the laser
I read so many things i got scared of loosing face fat
Did u do the laser under the eye also?
Have a lovely day
I think i will repeat the dermabrasion then, because i had baby akin after that, no more scars no more pores
The doctor also put me on roacutane 10 mg/ day for 2-3 months so the skin heals well because i have a tendency for blackheads appearance
The open pores got back after a year and the blackheads too so now im thinking to repeat
I was also all red and swelled and my skin was red for like 2 months after the procedure and i was looking like a monster lol
After the dermabrasion i think i will do a couple of microneedling with prp
I saw some very nice reviews abt it
I think is better to take care of the skin while u are still young,im soon 28
I do not know what to choose between Laser resurfacing and Microdermabrasion.I am a bit afraid of Lasers :-( Can u tell us about details of the dermabrasion procedure that worked for you?after 2 months did you completely get rid off redness?
I had a dermabrasion 2 y ago plus blefaroplasty inferior and superior
I remember the first 2 days were hard , i got red and swollen
Then the next days i start to peel
By day 10 i completely peeled off
I used aloe vera gel 100% natural
The redness got away completely after 2 months
After the first month u could barely notice
I think is less agressive than the laser im thinking of doing it again because im afraid of co2
I recommend u to start with microdermabrasion see how u react
Co2 is for deep scars and wrinkles i dont know exactly for which problem u want to do it
Microdermabrasion starts from exterior layers of skin to the interior so depends on u how far u want to go,the laser pentetrates deep into the skin
Its like a round device that polishes :)
Yes indeed u have to wait if u take it before the laser/dermabrasion because ur skin is very sensible but i have already a year i stopped accutane so its no problem
I loved accutane because since i have oily skin and hair my skin was not dry while on accutane
Was normal
Also i could wash my hair only once a week and not once every 2 days :D
Small doses dont harm so much i was on 10 mg only
I tried creams with aha and only seems to make my skin worse i had a tremendous breakout while on aha
I m also willing to try radio-frequency combined with micro-needling i saw some great reviews
Today i had a cosmetic microdermabrasion and i liked it so much im thinking to buy a device for at home microdermabrasion :D
Anything acid or that dries out my skin seems to make more harm than good so i think i ll stick to dermabrasion and ill
Do soon a microneedling prp or rf microneedling i m still thinking for which one to go
I ll make a post soon
It only burned for like 1 h after
He also did the prp treatement right after the laser
Now im puffy , a few spots of blood and my face is red
Cant wait to see the next days
I think I will begin less aggressively, having microdermand then...most probably I will try PRP!
;-)
