Calf Reduction (Slimming) Botox

I first saw Dr. Emer in September 2021 to discuss a course of Botox injections into my calves to reduce their size. Dr. Emer was one of the few doctors I found in the US who had practical experience with the procedure. He was caring and compassionate, understood my concerns, and took the time to discuss the treatment options with me in full. I felt very comfortable working with him as a result and started a course of injections which lasted from September 2021 to July 2023.

The results have exceeded my expectations. The circumference of my right calf in July 2021 was 36.5cm and of my left 35.5cm. By July 2023, both calves were 32cm. That's a reduction of 1.75" on the right calf and 1.38" on the the left calf. This reduction has been maintained through January 2026 without any additional injections. I simply could not be happier with the results!

The picture attached shows my calves in July 2021 and in January 2026. The dramatic improvement is clear. As an added bonus (as you can see comparing the photos), the quadricep muscles above the knee softened considerably, making my entire leg appear longer and leaner. I didn't expect this, but I was happy for it.
