A Really Great Consult with Dr. Copeland
I recently had a consult with Dr. Copeland for calf and ankle liposuction. I arrived early and after filling out forms, I was brought back right away to meet Dr. Copeland, even though it was still before my appointment time. She reviewed my medical history and goals and asked me questions like “why have you decided to make a change now?” I appreciate this holistic approach. I then had photos taken by her nurse (Rachel, I think), who was lovely. Then after reviewing the photos and examining my legs, Dr. Copeland determined I’m not a candidate. While I’m disappointed, I appreciate that she is not willing to operate on anyone, taking into account that the minor improvement I might get wouldn’t be worth the cost or risks of surgery.
Even though it’s unlikely I’ll have any further encounters with Dr. Copeland, I’d recommend her based on my experience.
As an added plus, her office is directly across the street from the Met and her office opens right on to street level.
