How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Not Sure
Its been over 15 months since the surgery, and the scars are still very visible even from afar, so no chance of swimming or wearing shorts. Just wanted to warn anyone thinking about this surgery who lives in a warm country where they need to wear shorts to be comfortable in summer, it could be a very long time before you can do this! I'm not sure these scars will fade enough to feel confident to be able to show my legs in public again unfortunately... I've seen a consultant about this and he thinks it is a vascular scar, causing discolouring, as it lessens when I raise my legs up or put pressure on the scar. He thinks it may fade more with time but that it could take many years, and may always be obvious as scars. I will provide an update after the 2nd year of healing.
