WORTH IT
I went in for a consultation and booked my granulomas removal with Dr. Tanovic. She is so informative and genuine. She made me feel at ease and safe. I still don’t know why the actual substance is that caused the granulomas but I guess we will know after surgery. The first surgery is set for July 23. I joined this site for support and guidance from people who have had similar surgeries. I look forward to sharing and learning from you guys. I am Very nervous but i will leave it all n Gods hands. Good luck with your journeys.

I’m going to be going for my consultation with dr tanovic and mir in August. What insurance do you have, I’m just curious I’m praying mines get approved!

Hi! Any updates on how you feel?
I feel great! It's been a year I've puffed out a little and is getting constructive surgery March 4th with another doctor in New York
I went and got my removal by Dr. Tanovic in February. Everything went smoothly, but it won't be easy as far as appearance, your butt will be deformed, and the drainage process is a pain. I go for my doctor's appointment on Monday, and I hope we can start discussing reconstructive.
How long did you healed
The drain came out after a month, so by the end of March and then I went back to work in April. I am fully healed and sent Dr.Tamovic my MRI. Hopefully, she'll clear me for reconstruction next month.
Did you stay in a recovery home, and how long did you have to stay in New York?
No recovery home. I stayed in a hotel and then came back to Maryland. I got my surgery done in February

My surgery went well. I met with Dr. Tanovic today, she said that i have healed very well. I am waiting on the insurance company to approve my reconstruct. I am now 8 months post removal
Did she do 2 sessions of removal?. Id love to see the before and afters... I wonder how she is with scars
Yes, it was two days apart.
