47 yrs old ,5 ft 3 , 120 Ibs- Time to tighten things up
WORTH IT
I believe that I work hard to maintain a healthy body through lifestyle, exercise & nutrition.During adolesence however my weight yo-yoed due to emotional eating & poor nutritional choices- this continued somewhat into my 20's & 30's as I still held on to those negative behaviours-( My heaviest weight was 165 Ibs). By my early 40's my weight was stable due to lifestyle changes & it became apparent that certain areas of my body clung on to exercise/ diet resistant stubborn fat - I also had some loose skin in places too.Fast forward to 2015- I had lipo to my thighs and a year later I had a full TT w muscle tightening & flank lipo. These surgeries have had positive outcomes for me and I have written reviews for each on RS( if interested!).I have now elected to have my TT incision extended around my sides & bottom to give me a buttocks/ posterior lift. I am hopeful that this will improve the appearance of my lateral thigh/ hip lower back & buttock area. I will have a fat transfer from inner , outer thigh & back, to augment my bottom so that hopefully I won't end up with a flat pancake bum! I dont have a lot of fat to harvest, but I'm NOT aiming for a Kim Kardashian bum so thats OK!! ...My surgeon of choice is Mrs CC Kat who perfomed my 2 other surgeries- I am confident that Mrs Kat is 'on the same page' as me and understands my aesthetic goals , so roll on Aug 4 th!!! X

I am 49, 5'5" and 121 pounds. I had a TT and BA/BL a little over a year ago and do not regret it one bit! However, I do regret not having it extended to my backside too! I need that area lifted too! I would do it in a minute but my husband says no more! Where are you having your's done and what is the cost? If I could find a good price I'd do it. Good luck and please post pictures and your story! I'm jealous--

Current pics show the areas that I hope to get aesthetically improved- pictures can't fully relay the way my body 'feels' with regard to the skin laxity and how these areas wobble / jiggle when not wearing clothing- I know that Iam not large, I just would just really like for everything to be as tightened up, as much as is possible for me X

You have a great bum! And I know that it's all about how you feel but, honestly, bums are meant to be a bit squishey! They protect you when you fall and when your sit down. I always think that it's very easy to find flaws with ones body. I think you look fab and I, personally, wouldn't take the risk x

Hi ya, how you doing?... Nice to hear from you- thanks for what you said.I know it may seem abit extreme but the loose skin really bothers me & I can't shift it without surgery.I know that I don't have a huge amount , but I'm so pleased with my TT results and how things look from the front- I'm hopeful that tightening things up a bit around the sides and back will improve those areas too.I'll be ending up with a 'lower body lift' but the recovery should be less dramatic ,as I've already had the front bit done.XX

Hey there, you have worked so hard and achieved so much and you look absolutely fantastic but I can totally see why you want to take this step. What actually is she going to do for you? Is it like a rear lower body lift or are you going to have lipo on your rear too? I can't wait to have my surgery hopefully in January and know I have found the right surgeon in Mrs Kat. Can I also ask what scar treatment did you use for your TT and when did you start after the surgery?xx

Hi ya, thanks for your comments : ) So Mrs K will be removing loose skin/ fatty wedge from around my sides. This should tighten up my hip/ lateral thigh area some what. I will have some lipo done on lower back, outer thigh & inner thigh to transfer to my bum, as after extra skin has been excised my bum could end up a bit flat looking -Dr's seem to term things differently on here ,but essentially it will be leaving me with same result as a lower body lift I think- The incision on my bum/ back will join up with my TT incision. After I didn't have to wear the micropore tape anymore I used Environ oil ( vit A, C & E),available from Mrs K's clinic.I was a bit rubbish though & didnt use it that regularly. I just ended up using Aveeno moisturiser thst I use as my daily regime. You are definitly in good hands with Mrs K- I am over the moon with my TT results as so many ladies are that have had surgery with her- are you planning any other procedures too? ..XX

Thanks for the info, I will look into that cream. Yeah I am planning to have a breast lift at the same time which she has said she is happy to do. I have been trying to find any reviews of hers re the breast lift without implants but I can't find any!! She seems confident she can get me a good result but I am going back to see her in Oct anyway to discuss this further and see some more pics of her work before making my final decision. Do you know if there are any other reviews for her other than on this site? There are only written reviews on her website, no pics!!xx

There's another website with a forum called makemeheal.com - there may be some reviews on there?.. think Isaw a TT review for Mrs K on there with pics, but not looked for breast lift ones... I will follow with interest as I am pretty certain that I will get a breast lift too at some point! Xx

Thank you for your honesty and exposure. I think you look amazing, and I am in awe at how well your scar from the tt healed. What did you do for it? I am just 2 weeks post op tt and lipo. I go today to get the drains removed. They have been a hassle. I hope I could look half as good as you, truly. Yet, as everybody else says, if you want it done do it.

Hi, Thanks for your comments-
I hope you're feeling much better now with your drains gone- with my TT scar, once the dressings came off micropore tape was applied & I wore that on it for 3 months- only replacing it when it fell off. After that I would massage the scar with a product called Environ Avst( oil containing vit A,C & E) only did this though for a couple of weeks - now I just moisurise with my regular body moisturiser Aveeno.I hope everything continues to go well with your recovery: ) X

Thanks so much for the tips! It is so much better with the drains out, although I wish I could have found a way to wear a good cf or Spanx with them in. Now I feel like I am 2 weeks behind in the "squishing" game! My nurse said for me to start taking the tape off that the doctor put on my scar. I think I will wait a few more days as I cannot get it of this Soanx! It took 3 of us to get me in it! I was told to buy the ointment they had there. Some bio cream - forgot the name. It was $120! I am going to look for better deals or now get what you recommended.
You have been quite helpful. I hope my recovery is as splendid as your has been. Seriously, you are a success story!

Can I ask, are you taking HRT or doing any treatments that affect skin laxity and thickness, avoiding bone loss etc? Your surgery is amazing.
