Butt implant

2 months ago I’ve done with my surgery and my right implant still staying upper than left one what to do?? My doctor not giving me clear answers. He want me just wait. And also my left side still in pain and my down part of glutes is hard like squeezed muscles since I had surgery. The right side is fine with no pain at all but implant in the same place that doctor put in. Its didn’t set down

I decided to start this recovery diary because I have found very little detailed information from real patients about recovery after gluteal implants, especially when the two sides are healing differently.

I had gluteal implants, and my recovery has been quite different on the left and right sides.

My left implant seems to have settled into position earlier, while my right implant is still sitting higher and has not dropped as much yet.

However, the left side — the side where the implant has already settled — is also the side where I am experiencing most of my discomfort.

The muscles on my left side feel extremely tight and hard compared with the right side. I have an aching pain starting from the lower part of my left buttock and continuing down the back of my thigh toward the area behind my knee.

Sometimes I also experience burning sensations and mild numbness in the back of my buttock and thigh.

Sitting is currently the most uncomfortable part. When I sit for some time, my legs can start to feel numb, especially my left leg, and sometimes the numbness involves almost the entire leg. When I am not sitting, the symptoms are less intense.

My right side feels completely different. The muscles are much softer, I do not have the same leg pain, burning or numbness, but the right implant has not settled into position as much as the left one.

I do not currently have fever, redness, obvious inflammation or throbbing pain.

At this point I do not know whether the symptoms on the left side are caused by muscle tension, irritation of the sciatic nerve, pressure from the implant or simply part of the healing process. I do not want to diagnose myself, so I am documenting exactly what I feel and how it changes over time.

One of the main reasons I am starting this diary is to hear from other people who have had gluteal implants, especially intramuscular implants.

I would really like to know:

Did one of your implants settle before the other?

Did you experience a very tight or hard gluteal muscle on one side?

Did you have burning, numbness or aching pain down the back of your thigh?

Did your leg become numb when sitting?

If you experienced something similar, did it eventually resolve on its own, and how long did it take?

I will continue updating this diary during my recovery and share whether the asymmetry, muscle tightness, pain and numbness improve with time.
