Implants not what expected - not the size of my wish pictures

I wanted to come back and update the review. I’m very glad I had the surgery and revision overall. I’ve lost a lot of weight and had I not had it done I’d have no butt at all probably. I do have two lumps or knots in one butt cheeck but the dr has agreed to look at and take care of if needed I just haven’t been able to get back to Chicago yet.

5/16/23- I’m only 5 days after surgery so I will update this review positively or negatively as I go along. This was a very expensive surgery for me out of town so I was nervous and did have high expectations. I have attached the dream pictures I also showed to the doctor. I’m from the South and everyone is friendly here so maybe I was expecting to be greeted warmly and welcomed with hospitality upon coming into surgery for my first time meeting them. That didn’t happen. No one said hello but I said my name and I was here for surgery. They said okay let me get your paperwork and ID. I guess I expected “welcome, we’re glad you made it” or something like that. I will say on my two follow up appts they were alittle more friendly. However this shouldn’t in my opinion be a reason for choosing or not choosing a surgeon. The skill of the surgeon should be the reason. We discussed my wish pictures again. I was to get lipo of lower back, inner thighs and transferred to my butt and hips with butt implants as well. I already expressed concern on my call I wouldn’t have enough fat in those areas because I had lipo before in those areas. He felt I had enough. I’m 5 days out and I have no bruising and do not feel my back had any lipo, there are no puncture marks and no bruising. My inner thigh at knee has light bruising but doesn’t hurt in my thighs like lipo normally feels and I have very little bruising. My butt was larger the last few days but I guess as swelling has went down my butt has gone down. I’m definitely not the size of my wish pictures or near the size I wanted to be. I’m hoping it atleast gets back to my size right after and the couple days after or it won’t be worth it. I booked the suite at The Peninsula hotel to stay in, well worth it but at $1500 a night it wasn’t cheap. I was planning to go home Saturday from surgery Thursday but he suggested I stay till Monday for the drains so I did. I went in on Monday and seen another doctor but they didn’t feel the drains needed to come out. I told them I could remove at home as I was a previous med student and had them from a tummy tuck years prior and I could do so I went ahead and came home. I’m hoping to remove the drains tomorrow but if I knew this was going to be the case I could have saved myself another $3,000 in extra hotel and just left Saturday and removed from home when I could. The biggest thing is the size I’m hoping they do get larger or it won’t be worth it. Also, I’ve had lots of surgery — this is by far the most painful surgery I have ever had. Hysterectomy, tummy tucks, lipo….this is the worst. This is as bad as passing a large kidney stone and I have passed many of them. Oh yea, something really annoying…in all my previous surgeries they put on my garmets and dress me while I’m still asleep. Here, I had to wake up in excruciating pain and get dressed and put on garmets. It would have been so much better if all that had been done to me while I was asleep. I never experienced anything different so that was a surprise and quite annoying. I asked the doctor if he had any complications and he said no, it all went as planned.
