Butt implants 1year update
WORTH IT$11,000
Just wanted to post some pictures since it’s been a year since I’ve had them done. I love them! It’s the best decision I’ve made. They are a little more firm than I was expecting but I am still so glad I got them.

1 week post op
sorry, late update. These pictures are a week after surgery. I was self sufficient after the 1st week of surgery. I was able to walk up and down stairs, although I was waddling around. I was back to work 2 and 1/2 weeks post op. I am a server so I am constantly on my feet. I would not recommend going back to work this early if your job requires you to sit. I did not sit comfortably until about 6 weeks post op.

I can feel them sometimes but for the most part I’m so used to them and they feel like a part of my body, I don’t even notice them

Hey girl!! Do you happen to remember what the downtime of this surgery was? I’m wondering for work. Thank you!!

Not trying to be negative but I think you looked jut fine beforehand. But we all have difft impressions of ourselves, as I do with my thighs. Hope all is well.

1 week after!
Sorry, late update! I took all of these pictures about 1 week after the surgery. The first week of surgery was the worst. I stopped taking my pain pills, or would only take them at night to help me sleep, sometime during week 2. I was self sufficient during week two, walking up and down stairs, although I was definitely waddling around. I actually went back to work two and a half weeks after my surgery. I am a server so I am constantly on my feet. I would not recommend going back to work if you are constatly sitting on the job. It wasn't comfortable to sit until about 6 weeks post op.

You look great!! Can you see the implant when bending over? Also what size did you get if you don’t mind me asking?

October 22, 2020
I can’t see the implant at all when bending over. I got 360cc
October 22, 2020
Great thank you :) are you happy with the size you got or do you wish you would’ve gone bigger? I want 400cc if I can get it

October 22, 2020
I love the size I have now because it looks so natural, like you would never be able to tell that I have implants unless I told you. Although, I do wish it was a little bigger! I just don’t know if it would match my thighs or if it would still look natural if I went any bigger, so I am overall happy with the size I got.

Thank you for responding! I do have one more question if you don’t mind me asking! When bending over so they creature the gum-drop effect and bulge at the top? I keep seeing surgeons saying all round implants do this but idk if that’s true or not

Would you mind telling me when your various post-op appointments/ milestones happened?
It sounds like you got your drains out after a week, so after that I'm most curious about how many days it was before you had the all-clear to sit normally (or at least try to). Seems like some say 12 days, some say 2 full weeks, and that's a whole weekend's difference!
My surgery with Dr. Shifrin is in a few weeks, but we've only scheduled my 2-day post-op. So of course I'm getting anxious and worrying about still having drains in by Thanksgiving, when I'll be able to drive, getting back to work without needing more time off for appointments... you know, typical pre-op worries! I should have asked if they have some kind of packet with more info on what to expect.
But anyway, thank you for sharing your experience and for the extra info! I hope you're doing well!

I’m not the OP, but Dr. shifrin told me (along with Dr. Stanton and Dr. Olson) minimum waiting time for sitting is two weeks. Drain time depends on each patient. Some will be days others will be weeks. Hope this helps calm your anxiety. I can’t wait to see your results and hope you share your experience! :)

1 day post op- post op appointment
4 days post op- drains removed
1 week post op- I could start walking around better
2 1/2 weeks post op- Went back to work. I would wait longer to go back to work if you are constantly sitting
4 weeks post op- I could finally stop sleeping on my stomach
5 weeks post op- Started to feel comfortable sitting on my butt for very SHORT periods of time.
6 weeks post op- I could swim.
I did not feel fully comfortable sitting on my butt for long periods of time until around 3 months post op.

Perfect, thank you. It sure seems daunting, but I appreciate the details :) At least during the pandemic I'm lucky enough to work + recover at home. No one ever has to know I'm standing at my kitchen table because my ass is on fire!

It was just one incision in the center in my butt crack. Then there is one dark spot in the crease under each of my butt cheeks from where the drain tubes were at.
