Butt Implant Journey

I'm on my way to NYC to see Dr. Senderoff for my first consultation. My appointment is this afternoon. I'm kind of anxious because I'm traveling alone. I wanted my mother to come along for support, but she isn't happy about my decision to have the procedure done. I've always been 100% sure that I wanted a butt augmentation until now. Leave it to Mom to put things into perspective! But because I've been researching this for so long - I'm going to go through with the consultation. I have to at least go check it out, or else I will always wonder 'what if'?

I have wish pictures saved to an album on my phone that I intend to show to the doctor. I'm looking for a lot of projection and fullness, but I want it to look natural. Though natural, I still want it to be rather large. I'm 5'3 120lbs.

I know that I don't need a larger derrière, but I want this procedure done to help improve my overall confidence and self image.

I'm curious to hear what Dr. Senderoff thinks will be the best size implants for me. His style of work is very natural looking, that is why I'm seeing him first. I think he will be able to combine what I want, and what will look good aesthetically.

So, my consultation went well. It went a lot faster than I expected. I filled out paperwork in the waiting room until Dr. Senderoff was ready to see me. The office is small and cozy. The girls upfront were nice and seemed to be expecting me. Dr. Senderoff took me back into an exam room where he asked me a few short questions. He wasn't very social, but his demeanor was kind. He was straight to the point. I spent less than 10 minutes with him. He took a look at my bottom and then showed me the size implant he would like to use. He advised that I get 275cc implants. All of his implants are custom made for his patients, by the way. The implant was squishy which I liked. He showed me the material of the implant, and explained how it can't possibly burst or come apart inside of my body.

After the short consultation he showed me to Jo Marie's office, his office manager/assistant. Jo Marie is bomb! Her personality is warm, and she's down to earth. We shared some laughs and she informed me on a lot of things that I didn't know or wasn't sure about. I was very comfortable discussing what I want and what I don't want with her. We went over some questions I had, and then we went ahead and scheduled a Pre-Op and Surgery appointment. I'm scheduled to have surgery 10/16. My deposit was $500 which will be deducted from the $9500 total price. I paid for the deposit and will continue to pay for my procedure via CareCredit.

When speaking with Jo Marie, she showed me pictures of similar patients who had 275cc buttock implants. I was worried that a 2 won't give me the results I'm looking for. We talked about it for a while and compared my body and shape to other patients. She explained why two people with the same size implants can have different results. It all depends on the size and shape of the person pre-op. She thinks I'm going to look spectacular either way, but she's going to order a size 3 implant as well. Just to make sure I'm getting the biggest possible implant, that will still fit appropriately on my frame. I would like to go up to 3, but the decision will ultimately be made by Dr. Senderoff during my Pre-Op appointment.

During my consultation last week the Doctor recommended that I get 275cc implants. I trust his choice, but I'm not sure that he fully understands the final result I'm looking for. Initially I told him that I desire a natural looking appearance. Which I do! But Idk if I made it clear that I want a BIG booty. I know the 275cc will give me a nice look. But will it give me the projection and volume I'm looking for? I don't believe so. I know that bodies come in all different shapes/sizes, and I've concluded that all implants aren't the same. For example, some surgeons use custom implants. But after reading over lots of other reviews, I still think 275cc is a lot less than what I'm looking for. Especially considering that the size decreases once the swelling decreases. I just don't want to spend thousands of dollars and still not get the results that I want.. I'm going to contact the office tomorrow to voice my concerns. I was looking at this chart as reference .. I'm looking to go size 4 or 3 at least. I already paid my deposit so I'm just hoping that the Doctor and I can come to an agreement.
