Almost 3 weeks
I'm almost at 3 weeks (2 days shy).
I had to go back to work. Last week so was at my 2 week mark. I did drive with a bbl pillow. Not comfortable at all but I managed. I was doing really well with no pain and could put my own socks on lol until Thurs night and I found that I was in a lot of pain and my incision area was swollen. My incision is closed and the stitches have desolved. I iced the area all this weekend and the swelling has gone down. I think I overdid it. I only sit on my bbl pillow for no more than 10 mins. Then I stand or kneel but maybe just moving around too much.
I am paranoid that I might have caused damage to the internal stitches. Anyone else have a situation that you were pain free pretty much then have pain all of a sudden? I feel like I have regressed a week.
Other than that. They still look good.

45 Yr Old with Butt Implants with Lower Back Fat Transfer
Just wanted to say that after years of wanting this but Canada not allowing this type of surgery, I finally got to go through with this. Due to covid and being out of country, I chose Dr. Shifrin to perform the surgery. We had an on the phone consultation with me sending photos in. After receiving his pricing I did do a few other consultations before deciding to go with my first choice, Dr. Shifrin.
The staff was amazing, Jesenia answered all my questions and got back to me quickly for everything including scheduling a day. Being out of the country makes it a little difficult to organize everything to a T!
After sending payment and arriving in Chicago, my appt was the following day. The only thing I wished would have been different was that my hubby couldn't come in with me prior to getting ready for the pre-op to meet Dr. Shifrin and have us both explain what size etc I wanted. I did that on my own with him and I felt he understood exactly what I wanted.
After surgery, Kristen the nurse was AMAZING. She was very patient and kind. Helped me get dressed and on our way back to hotel.
After the lovely uber ride back. I pretty much slept the rest of the day.. I would highly suggest to follow the suggestions of the staff and get a female urinal as it was a life saver!!
I was obviously pretty swollen and sore but it was manageable. Next day we went back for check up and all was well. The Fri I had the drains removed which was horrible and painful but much better without them. Fast forward to day 5 and I am much more mobile. Can walk and do stairs slowly but improving every day. Swelling is going down each day and I LOVE the results already and I know they'll just keep getting better...well here's hoping lol.
Biggest con is going to the toilet for the first time. I was really constipated from the meds so the first time was difficult and stressful! Hopefully going forward it will be easier. Still have a hard time with getting comfortable with the bbl pillow. Something I will have to used to. Staying on my stomach all the time is not fun, so I am hoping to create a "well" in my recliner to finally "sit".
That's it for now will update again in a week.
Also if flying which was painful make sure you have the bbl pillow with you and make sure you upgrade to a bigger leg space so you can kneel or stand easily. Best decision I made lol.
